Probably not near as good as Yama's, but I made some pasta tonight. Just a quick meat sauce with a bit of italian seasoning. And of course the accompanying garlic bread.

Oh shit, it's on now. I likes me some homemade pizza too. We gonna have to make this a contest. I warn you though, I did have a stint as a pizza maker at the big D for awhile.

Are we gonna have some rules to the game? Aside from it being handmade obviously.

By the way, that looks so good.

That crap Yama posted may look fresh, but I have creativity, good looks, and master chef skills at my disposal. Don't worry, it's coming. Omg bro it is fucking coming.

Not to tear away from the gourmet portions of the thread but:

I'm eating those.

I say this as if it was important solely because here in Cali, wise potato chips DO NOT EXIST (along with tons of other good stuff from the East Coast. We'll leave it at this. California/West Coast is NOT known for it's food by any stretch of the imagination.)

Found them in Big Lots and I was like =-o!!!!!!! and grabbed em up.

And in regards to Pizza. Hah, 'unless' you handmake it yourself, don't expect to have anything 'pizza' like here in Cali. Their greatest pizza here tastes like an Ellio's pizza >_>

California food sucks. From low scale junk to high scale restaurants, it was all so generic and dare I say 'fake'. Don't even get me started on "Little Italy" in San Diego...

Never knew Wise was a Beast Coast thing, go figure. They own. Wise Salt and Vinegar chips all day.

Yeah, when I was in Texas it was the same problem. They barely know what pizza is, don't have any Wise chips or half the other snacks I liked in Jersey. No Taylor Ham, no 'real' chinese food. (Asking for chow mein on the west coast warrants you something ENTIRELY different than what you get on the east coat for example and they have NO CONCEPT of Pork Fried Rice over here.....or Egg Rolls -_- [their egg rolls here are spring rolls at best])

I miss all the East Coast food I took for granted for so many years!

Hell, most people out here don't even know what Ice Cream Cake is :(

And what's even funnier about it all is, they have INFERIOR food here on the west coast yet it's almost double the price of food on the East Coast.

I used to go to Shoprite with $200 and get an order that lasted me an entire month. I go to Albertson's with $200 here and get an order that lasts me 'maybe' 2 weeks if I'm lucky. And I'm well aware of inflation and rising costs of food but i've asked my family and friends about prices in NJ on food currently and the prices are still relatively low compaired to here in Cali.

I could buy a bag of Lays potato chips in NJ for like $1.49, big bag i mean. Here in Cali it's like $3.49-$4.29 for the same damn bag of chips.

2 liter bottle of Soda was like $1.29 there, here it's like $2.49

Could get a 'large' pizza with a topping, the NY kind that's huge and you can fold it in half and eat it for under $10. Here it's almost $15 for a medium pizza of any kind which is barely above an Ellio's pizza and is no where near long or wide enough to even attempt to fold it in half.

I miss NJ and so do my taste buds and wallet......:(

On a more positive note though, I did find one single little deli here at the Grove that has a guy who imports and sells Taylor Ham from NJ. Only place out here that has it and NO ONE on the west coast has any concept of what Taylor Ham is. But, I was so thrilled when I found it. Definitely one of my favorite foods I miss from East Coast.
