I'm not sure where anyone got the impression from the statement that "We understand you guys love jill/claire. But, here have these chars instead!".

He quite bluntly states "We understand a lot of people are asking about Jill and Claire. We know fans love them. But, there's still a lot of secret characters yet to be revealed for RE6 so please stay tuned!"

He's basically saying "I know you guys wanna know but I can't confirm or deny anything right now. There's still more characters to be revealed so please wait and see!" which is exactly what I said in the new posts. It's not a confirmation that they're in by any means, but, he notes there are still a lot of chars yet to be revealed so it's 'possible' they could be among them.

So we'll just have to wait and see who else is revealed. I'd wager there will be a mix of old and new chars revealed in due time.

But he doesn't say "a lot of secret characters yet to be revealed" he said "There are many other great characters in RE6, and we still have some very exciting character information to reveal." The fact that he has the two statements in the same sentence makes it mean that the other great characters are those that were announced, and they still have info on them that have yet to be announced. Don't get me wrong though, I would loved to be surprised if they surprised us with like another scenario with Claire and Jill, or that they make a cameo appearance, but the statement is making me think otherwise.

I think I nice fight scene between Ada & Jill is due or at least between Ada & Sherry.
