I want both, like what was in RE3.5

They will never make one after ORC and Darkside Chronicles. Besides, Capcom said that the horror market doesn't make them enough money last week.

If done in the style of RE on GC, that'd be one incredible experience. IMO, RE1 on GC is the scariest most life-like RE game to date. RE4 and RE5 aren't really that scary at all because they are more about shooting everything that moves, but graphically, they'd be right up there as well.

I personally would love to see a remake and i know many others would to, but porting is a delicate process that can be more strenuous than making the actual game itself. I wouldn't want to see them butcher storyline or game play mechanics in any way, I'd prefer it be similar to the silent hill HD collection (without the bugs and problems of course) Just simply take the old game, tweak the graphics like the CVX HD and i would be very pleased to see one of my childhood favs reborn!
As for the possibility of it actually happening? I'm not sure but it seems alot of company's are realizing they can make a quick buck off old products so I wouldn't go as far as saying its impossible.

I'm all for it, provided it's done right. But I'm not seeing any chance that it will happen in the near future.

I mean, they probably will... like, when they've run out of ideas and need a quick cash source.
