Well with Revelations, the script might not have made much sense. But Parker was an excellent character by Resident Evil standards. Hell, Quint and Keith were also really likable as well. In fact, I wish the game focused more on those three. And at the very least, Chris had a few funny lines. Patricia Ja Lee did a great job with Jill in RE5. Hell, I even like the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 VA for Jill.

And I always liked Claire in Mercenaries 3D. But I do find it odd that she didn't receive an instant kill melee. But honestly, Claire and HUNK are about the only characters that got new melees. Not to mention I feel Claire's melees fit her personality (tomboyish) really well. And the fact that they are just girly version of Chris' melees make them more awesome. I really enjoy playing as the Redfields, Rebecca, and Krauser in that game.

I'd love for Claire to come back. It just sucks that her story ended so quickly and that Capcom teased us with the RE5 viral campaign, Claire's badassery in Degeneration and Mercenaries 3D. It's fitting for Claire not to be a fighter, but she still has so much potential. I find it kind of stupid that Sherry and Leon see each other but Claire is nowhere around.

I certainly hope so. Just as long as they don't do something dumb like kill Claire. I can see it now

"Hmm... We need something epic to happen. We can't kill Chris, Leon or Jill because they all have huge fanbases... Let's kill Claire then!"

I think Claire's fanbase is just as big as any other main RE character to be honest. Actually, if I had to guess which character had the smallest fanbase from the main characters I would put my money on Chris I think. Not to mention Claire is really unique in the way that she is more or less the only thing that connects Chris and Leon.

But not as...vocal as Los Jilluminados.

There's actually a thread here about RE6's VA's. Some info has been shared about why Patricia Ja Lee was replaced. Make sure to check "Smiley"'s post. He gave me and others some good insight on how the Voice acting biz works.

Maybe I'm in a unique position of having my two favorite characters (Jill and Leon) be from two separate "RE Groups" but I would love for my favorite characters to be in a game together. It's also a little crazy when you think about the franchise being 15 years old and many of the main characters have never met each other.

I do agree, the "realization" of Jill in Revelations was a major step back, face as well as voice. Patricia did an amazing job humanizing her in my opinion. I always sort of liked Jill, but RE5 made me like her so much more.

Also, how was Jill pure fan service from the beginning? That's silly. She didn't have revealing clothing or anything back then, nor was she particularly active or impressive. Even in the remake, she seems a bit useless at times, which is contrasted to her appearances later in the series, where she is shown to know how to handle herself as well as her enemies. Her character has grown and matured, and that's awesome.

Revelations didn't do anyone any favors though.
Did anyone notice how every single line of dialogue in that game was a platitude?
Platitude = a remark or statement, esp. one with a moral content, that has been used too often to be interesting or thoughtful. Every. Single. Line.
