Sorry for being annoying about the glitches and stuff but I just have to ask ONE more thing.

So when you melee someone and they become "stunned" from the initial punch, you're supposed to be able to tap X or Y and perform a brutal kill. Thing is however that in versus I rarely manage to do this. I either end up killing them by repeatedly tapping the CQC button, or they fly away too far, turn the tables and beat me. Thing is, others always manage to brutal kill me after the first CQC-punch, yet I can't. I mash x/y IMMEDIATELY after B, so it should execute it, but it still takes me 5-10 "punches" to manage a brutal kill. Is this a bug related to unresponsive buttons, or could it be a connection issue on my end? I am currently on a 2 mbit/s line, and will get better internet soon... But yeah, I am just wondering. Freaking frustrating, especially if it's a bug. Wouldn't surprise me if it was, some buttons seem really unresponsive in general at times.

What is it about the Spec Ops campaign that makes it better. Is it just the premise? Are the characters more likable or something? I'm asking because while the free DLC chapter was okay, it didn't convince me to spend any more on the game.

once.

I can say: You can spend more on Spec Ops Missions.

First at All: These missions are very very very more inteligent and better worked than the USS missions.

Their missions are closer from the RE 2 and 3, they look like a true RE

For while we still don't have the 3 final missions, but i have sure, these ones gonna be amazing.

Oh ! I almost forget: The CG's are very better than the USS too.

@Obzen

Spec Ops missions aren't amazing but manage to feel more closer to RE we know than anything USS did. The second city hall mission is garbage but you get a third fight with nemesis actually using his rocket launcher in the third mission and an actual battle with birkin in the fourth. So it can be fun. Dunno that its worth $10 but its better than USS for sure.

As far as your Rev glitch goes. That was lag fucking you over, not the game.

@Eow

Its likely lag causing the problem or you're not close enough. You should be able to brutal kill immediately after the first hit. It happens to me too though where I melee but they dont stun for the kill to work. Its stupid lag and bad collision detection.

I have a question, has anyone else noticed that it takes a ridiculous amount of shots to kill human enemies? I mean, I land so many headshots, but it takes way too many bullets to kill someone. It's a stupid complaint...but...

It sort of just takes away from the "skill" portion of the game to me. Ha.

The trick is to hit X (brutal) or Triangle (unique) as soon as your character punches/kicks the opponent. Not immediately after as you're trying. Try doing it after 2, then when you got that down, do one.

In Vs a few headots will drop anyone fast. But it takes more than 1 bullet, unless you're using the annoying juggernaut. For campaign, imagine the enemys being able to kill you in a single shot.... just no.

Ah, thanks. Yeah, I noticed that I have to spam X/Y immediately after B to make it work. But I noticed something else, I dont know if this is a bug, but brutal kills don't always kill my opponents. :P I had several people in a brutal kill SEVERAL TIMES and it didn't kill them, so I had to keep CQCing until the brutal kill would eventually kill them, or they died from bleeding/regular CQC. :P

And yeah Robyn, collision detection is totally screwed in this game. Sometimes I can kill someone in literally 3-4 shots (with full health, I used the thermal vision to see how much health they had), sometimes 30...40...50...60 bullets to the head does jack shit. I really hope they patch this soon. It's great fun, but great frustrating. There's also this one glitch (or are people using cheats, I dunno) that makes people immortal, so they run around and never take any damage from anyone. Or they constantly get to sit in stealth or whatever.

Ah okay. But based on what you guys are describing, I don't really see many of those things as strong points. I honestly hated fighting against Nemesis in the free DLC spec ops things. I will agree that it felt closer to Resident Evil than the USS missions. But I experience a modicum of enjoyment when playing the USS missions. I still think $10 is too much of an asking price. I suppose going on youtube and watching them is the best bet.

Also, lag against the steam pipe is one thing. But I've had the game freeze three times on me. The most annoying part? I can't hit the power/home button to restart the game. Also if I eject the game card, I get an error message saying the card was removed and I need to hit the home button. But that does nothing. It takes it a good 5 minutes before it registers anything.

Can't believe some people actually bought the second half of this game, after already shoveling out 60+ dollars lol If Capcom thinks they can nickle and dime everyone for DLC in a RE game I fear for RE6's future.

Kinda sounds like an issue with your 3ds then, not Rev.
