Hmm, I just bought Vita and hoped there would be PSOne Classic games like PS3 has, but there isn't?!
I am really looking forward to see them coming on Vita as well. I never had PSP so I dont know is those PSOne games avaible on that system? Or is it just for PS3?

And also I was battling a bit with the Vita system. It wouldnt let me use my account so I had to make a new one and then update it and then restore the system and then when that fake account was deleted it let me use my own account.
And I dont have any games on it yet, I was kinda hoping for those PSOne games (RE mostly!)... and of course waiting for RE4-5 ports... or not :D

I dont have PS3 right now, but can someone tell me what all RE games there is downloadable for PS3 on the Playstation Store?
I hope there would be lots of same games coming for Vita as PS3 has.

PSOne Classics are coming, but, Sony hasn't revealed an actual date as to 'when'. We're all hoping it's sooner rather than later.


No RE games are currently scheduled for the Vita.

PSN Store has RE1 Directors Cut, RE2, RE3, CVX HD, RE4HD and RE5 Gold Edition for download on the ps3.

Are those all coming available for Vita? I mean if those PSone RE games are as Classic what about those others? I'm bit confused with this handheld thing... and its link with ps3-psp-psone-ps2-thing. Seems like Sony has lot to do with that matter.

I'm fairly certain once the support is opened up it just uses the PS1 titles already downloadable on the PSN that work on the PS3 and PSP already. So in that case any RE/BH titles on the PSN already will work.

One would assume they're having some problems with the emulation of certain titles on the PSV which is causing the delay.

What Rombie said. You won't see new Vita versions of each classic, that's for sure. Once the emulation is ironed out they'll likely be 'PSP B/C'.

Yep, it has been a couple of months but I'm pretty sure they will announce a date at E3.

Just to clarify, once PSONE classic emulation is complete and made available for the Vita, you'll be able to play any of those PSONE classic RE's on the Vita. (You can currently by using the Remote Play feature and play your ps3 through your vita. But that requires you to be within wireless distance of your ps3)

However, you wont' be able to play RE4 or CVX or Gold Edition unless support for them is added to the Remote play option. Most ps3 games and the like aren't compatible to be played on the vita using that feature at the moment. It's mostly just ps one classics and videos and whatnot on your ps3 that can be played with Remote play.

So in conclusion, currently you can play RE:DC, RE2 and RE3 on your vita using Remote play if you're within communication distance to your ps3. And when PSOne classic support is actually added to the vita you'll be able to play them on your vita at any time, anywhere without Remote Play necessary.

RE4, CVX and 5GE are not playable on the vita at all currently until/unless Remote Play functionality is added for them which isn't likely.


Although if i'm wrong and RE4 and CVX are playable on the vita at any time in the future, I'd gladly repurchase them again through PSN even though I already have them on XBL just so I can have re4 and cvx on the go.

I bought vita and I dont have any games on it yet... I have read that there is a lack of 'good' games and variety of games overall for vita so the console is getting less popular and wont sell. As far as I can see that is so true. My console is like resting on the table and waiting.

Actually if you look at the line up of games for vita its really pretty decent. All the genres are there for whatever type of game youre looking for. I have Uncharted, Hot Shots Golf, MLB and Katamari. I enjoy all of those and am awaiting gravity rush next month. I dont think anyone in their right mind expects a huge library out of the vita so quickly after launch but im glad theirs actually alot to choose from already. Plus it has psp games too(some). So ive got my moneys worth out of it so far. Lack of PS1 support and trophy sync between PSN on PS3 are my real gripes with it atm
