That's true. But if he was just a new character, don't you think Capcom would give us his name? Like with Helena and Beards? There's something up with this guy.

He is releated to Wesker in some way. Just look at all of his moves in the trailer. He is either Alex Wesker (given superhuman serum) or Albert Wesker's son (probably been experimented on him by Albert).

So seems like Alex Wesker (Albert's son) is indeed in this game???

His name is Jake Mueller actually.

Is there some kind of connection? Did Wesker screw his wife? Or if Jake Mueller not a literal "biological" son, and merely a candidate for the virus, fashioned in Wesker's image and set to be his heir?

Too early too say. I'd always have thought Wesker had no family and that was the way he liked it. He even suggests so in Wesker's Report 2 when he talks about Birkin and Annette having Sherry where he wonders how Birkin had time for a family.

Maybe it is Alex Wesker's son? Ada only presumes it to be Albert's because she knows nothing of the Wesker Children?

Or maybe Albert simply doesn't care about Jake? Or Jake is genetically improve version of Albert. Jake don't even need to know this... And when Ada said Wesker Jr. this guy show up in the trailer

I've assumed previously that all Wesker Children weren't capable of reproduction, I'm still leaning on that theory even after this. But I guess it's complicated.

It's probably a back door project of Umbrella, who said anything about reproduction. Could be all surrogates and clone cells.

Muller or Müller sounds like "Mueller", schoolboy error on their part.
