The Lorax. I loved it.
Part of the movie got "evil" real fast and it was sort of depressing but I expected it to be. Still a good watch though.

Mirrors (2008) apparently the version I watched starring Kiefer Sutherland is actually an American remake of the Japanese version. I've never seen the original but after watching the remake I'd be happy to check it out. I was entertained pretty much the whole way through, it had some gory death scenes and one in particular (the bathtub scene) was just ridiculous lol but it was fun to see though since movies don't seem to go over the top like that anymore.

I'd check it out if you like horror.

Just watched Drive. I was blown away. Kind of reminds me of a modern day Taxi Driver. I've always wrote Ryan Gosling off as just a pretty boy heart throb, but after this, I have respect for him.

Last film I saw was The Stepford Wives (1975). I've never seen any of the remakes/sequels ands it's nice to see the original. Great suspense and ending!

I honeslty got nothing from Drive.
It felt like it took forever to start. I'm glad the main character wasn't all macho, but he was still... wierd.

I watched "Immortals" not long ago. While it was an OK movie I thought it left a lot to be desired. The "hero" of the film Theseus starts the action portion of the film kicking loads of ass in majestic fashion, then thru the middle of the movie all of his badassness just fades away. Even at the end of the film with the final battle with the big bad is less than stellar. I liked the movie overall, but I think they wasted a bunch of potential ass kickery throughout the movie.

Just watched the The Thing (Carpenter version), and The Crazies(remake) over the weekend. Great movies.
