You can really see the influence of Adlard in the screenshots. I'm happy they took this route.

This looks like it could turn out to be something worthwhile and cool. I'm going to be keeping an eye on this, thanks. I hope this doesn't take up too much space on my PS3 hard drive though. Similar to Siren Blood Curse, that game ate up some GB chunks.

I really like the fact that they are taking a more personal approach with the characters and the ( Little girl who lost her parents and a hardened convict turning soft for the kid) cliche is a really good substance to work with, kind of reminds me of Silent Hill for some reason...being able to dig into the past and personality of the main character is what we all crave in a video game right?

But for some reason I can't help but think it will be disappointing. It may be too early to judge, but I just don't believe it will be able to provide the drama that the show and comic provided. By what I've seen it looks like a condensed Dead Island along with a Heavy Rain interaction panel. Sure they were fun, but easily forgettable, right?

I didn't watch the whole little talk show Starlisa posted, but is this game supposed to be short or something? I mean, digital download? Could it be a linear storyline or will there be tasks to complete? Will how you interact with one character completely change turnout?

In the last couple years Zombies have been completely re-imagined as more aggressive beings and as much as I love and fear the "slow-zombies," I just don't see what you can do with them in 2012+ and still keep an exciting storyline while using an action video game.

I have been waiting for this official reveal for quite some time now, even had a Telltale forum account for lurking. Thank you so much for breaking the news, very excited.

I love how they have the fans in mind and are not taking the generic and mindless approach with this game. It looks true to the series in how it is set up. More so, the storyline is a perfect fit. Completely canon to the story (which means a lot, not just an alternate take), a prequel of sorts so we can finally see how the outbreak started (always a biggie to me) and another side of the same events in a different area. They definitely thought this one out and came across the perfect and most exciting solution, I'm hyped.

The art direction is also a perfect fit considering this is canon to the comic series.

I guess it's up to what you like best, but I loved Heavy Rain. Preordered it, played it from 10AM-11PM that day and didn't stop for a month since there were so many different scenarios and endings. Plus there was DLC and videos about how the game was made, etc. Still one of my favorites. I'm still bitter about Dead Island, because though I had a lot of fun, the glitches I had (on PC) were game-breaking and I could never finish.

As for length, I'm guessing it will be 10-ish hours. It doesn't seem like it'll have a ton of replayability, but we never know.

To each their own, I saw Heavy Rain as GOTY type material and one of the best titles released this generation.

Roughly two hours each spanned across five or so chapters, so that sounds about right. I'm sure there will be some incentive to replaying them.

After reading the FAQ and watching the youtube videos, I am so hyped for this game. I like the direction they are going and what they are trying to do.

If they plan on releasing these "episodes" in short bursts (every 2 weeks, every month etc), I will opt to wait around for a bundle. It becomes more costly to download them separetly. Unless it doesn't bundle, then I'll purchase them all separetly as intended.

Does this game use Quick Time Events as the major game-play dynamic and does it prevent the player from taking direct control of the player-character like Telltale’s Jurassic Park: The Game?
o No. The Walking Dead offers a completely different game-play experience to Jurassic Park. QTEs do not form a major part of game-play and you will have full control over your character as you move through the game’s environments.

Cant wait!
