Biohazard Extreme was also one of my favorites, loved that place. Incredible design too for the time, in fact it still holds up. Didn't really talk much on the forum, until around Rebirths release.

Now that Rombie brings it up... is there anything from the old New Blood that can be salvaged by bringing it all back to Biohaze?

My involvement with Biohaze began in late 2006 when Yama sent me a personal message asking me if I was willing to join Biohaze as staff because he had seen an old mini-site of mine regarding the various different versions of Biohazard and facts related to them. It was a straight up offer to join as staff, something I was too young to appreciate at the time. Straight up offers are rare in any industry, so it's something I regret rejecting at the time. My reason for saying no at the time was that I didn't feel like I wanted to commit to anything. But then I changed my mind later on, moved my content to Biohaze and then it all grew from there. Now that I live in Japan, I feel that my best contribution to make Biohaze unique is to offer Japan-based news first.

I really like Project Umbrella as well -- very useful for quick fact checking and made me look at the series in a different light. Even though I've had a functional command of Japanese for a few years now, I wasn't really interested in playing through the series in anything other than English until I realized just how different the content is between Japanese and other languages.

And then there's THIA -- wonderful site in the past and still has a lot of potential in the fields it specialized in.

Yeah, I didn't really go on their forums much, it was the site itself I constantly checked. And yes, the flash design was just the most amazing thing ever. It was terrible on my 56k connection (haha) to load it back then because of how content heavy all the flash was, but, it was just beautiful. It's by far my favorite design for a website ever to this day.

I really miss that site.

But, that's why I said, Haze is the first and only site since that truly gave me the same kinda feeling BHX did. And getting involved on the forums helped solidify it's place in my heart :)

Didn't Biohazard Extreme have a hentai section? That image of Claire getting ravaged by a Licker is forever burned into my mind.

I for one am extremely glad I joined Biohaze. None of my friends are really into Resident Evil (Call Of Duty and Street Fighter get their attention) and I had nowhere to talk about it, until I found here. In short (not that my original statement is long, at all) Yay for The Haze!

Ahaha... Rammy's infamous Hentai section. Oh the laughs we had when he decided to put that up back in 1999.

There was an archive of BHX online until just a few months ago when the server seemed to collapse over at TotallyRE.com. Shame too because the Umbrella site we both worked on came up in conversation recently and I wanted to get something off it. I just still looked at it all last year and think of how exceptionally good he is. I've been out of touch with him for a while, occasionally we manage to chat on Skype at some weird time and he sent me an e-mail after the quakes in ChCh last year to make sure I was fine. Considering we used to chat basically almost everyday for years that's quite odd to me.

Would love to work with him again though. I always enjoyed working with him on the sites because he was just a visual and tech genius, and making content for it was always so relaxed and fun. I was saddened when he finally decided to call it quits. I actually enjoyed the forums over there too while they existed between 2000 and 2003.

CVX - I still have almost all of the site content and design versions from up til 2003 when I merged. Plus whatever I added at REFan that I can access. I'm happy to look through it all as I can and let you know if I think of anything. If there is anything you can think of otherwise, let me know. At this stage REFan itself is being passed onto Project Omega, I don't know if I'm supposed to say this or not, but I don't know exactly what he plans with the site and if he's using old content or starting from scratch but the NB stuff is mine so it doesn't bother me at all to post it elsewhere.
