Vague topic titles aside, I've noticed that there hasn't been much talk or discussion regarding what I feel to be a highlight of Revelations - the soundtrack. I haven't played the game myself since I don't own a 3DS, but I'm a huge fan of video game soundtracks and I have to say that Revelations has some exceptional music.

That's one aspect I was discussing with Rod, the soundtrack is amazing this time around. Akin to OB's in many ways, with a hint of Rebirth.

The Terragrigia track sounds like it belongs in a Rainbow Six game, for that reason I approve.

The track from the round lobby with the huge clock and casino entrance at the back, reminds me of Code: Veronica. :)

The OST was alright this time around, some of the ambience tracks where good but I feel like the soundtrack was trying to be too 'epic' for what for me was a less than stella game.

Wow this OST is giving Remake and RE5 a run for their money. Impressive.

I personally think that the series' soundtracks have gone downhill since RE4. Not to say that Rev has bad music but it's just not as memorable and neither was RE5's on the whole.

Now given the vague topic, I'll post my take on the game as well. The campaign's flow, the gameplay revisions is essentially the evolution that was needed post Zero without resorting to the action packed gameplay of 4. Better than RE5 for sure, but not quite as grand/ambitious as RE4 as a game overall despite it being more of a proper entry in the series as I said. It's a mere handheld game too so it gives me great hope for the future, particularly for RE6.

I'll swing by the demo's release in July. Hopefully I won't cave for Capcom's dirty trick :p

Great music in this game with some tracks that have hints of classic RE tunes. But I still felt it was lacking a very memorable one like say the Code Veronica theme, or the save room themes.

Great soundtrack, enjoyed everything on it.

Though I wish the music that played while telling what later happened to everyone was on it.

Makes me wanna get a 3DS from what you guys are talking about....
