No they don't. Check your positive daily, it never goes up. If I play Halo, I play with hundreds of people a day, think of the positive percentage I should receive for playing with that many people. After days upon days of playing that game, near one thousand players encountered, my percentages haven't moved.

Well that's because you shouldn't be gaining positive rep for someone not submitting any feedback at all. The thing is that when someone submits a 'negative' rep of you, it weighs against the people who submitted positive 'and' didn't submit anything at all. Which is how you can keep your 5 stars easily despite mostly negative reviews compaired to positive. There's basically 3 factors in there and 2 of them work together compaired to one being solo. But, those 2 factors are still seperate and don't count as 1 single percentage. Get it?

It's basically like:

Ok, You've played with 100 people online. 5 of them preferred you. 20 of them avoided you. 75 didn't submit anything at all. So you have 5% positive rep, 20% negative rep and 75% neutral. That neutral counts towards giving you stars because while your negative outweighs your positive, the majority is still on neutral which means people don't have a problem with you. And that means 80% in total of the people you've played with don't have a problem with you and thus 5 stars go to you because the majority of people you played with didn't have a problem with you. But, that 75% neutral still doesn't mean anything towards your positive percentage and isn't gonna move it up because it's neutral, not positive, they're not one in the same.

Yeah, it can be confusing. But, the rep system is worthless anyway and does nothing for or against you so who cares one way or another.

I just got an Xbox 360 for my birthday and both L4D games. I don't know what to do with it right now. My live subscription expired and I'm not so sure if I want to renew it yet. However, the AI in L4D 2 on the carnival level is completely useless and dumb. Having a hard time saving the gnome when all my team mates keep falling off and hanging on the roller coaster track. Sad face.

^Look for deals online. You can get a year subscription for $20-40 usually instead of $60. And it's worth it and way more bang for your buck than paying monthly or for 3 months at a time etc.
