Okay, I'm guessing that we've all had weird nonsensical dreams, and hopefully, you might post a few here. My first one is from when I was around seven or eight, and I dreamt I was lying in my bed, ach go tobann, extremely large pieces of broccoli, with large eyes and open mouths burst into my room, drag my out of bed and throw me into a random hole in the ground. Then I wake up. This dream happened at least 20 times.

My other weird recurring dream happened again last night. Two of my friends, one of my teachers and two random women are all in Gran Pulse, and we're all Final Fantasy XIII characters. I'm Vanille, my teacher is Snow, Kawaii-Fergy-Chan is Sazh, my neighbour is Cid, and the women are Fang and Lightning. So my neighbours' bird flies away (the bird is his brother, not sure how.) and we run off to find him, and go tobann, we're in some creepy forest, and happen upon a hotel. Then it gets weird. We transform back into our real forms, and the owner asks us if we want to stay the night. We said "Sure, why not?" Then I have an out of body experience, and I see the two women. The first woman is walking along a cliff, ach go tobann, she gets pushed off! My mind teleports me to the other woman, and she's in a part of the forest with a natural staircase, that is flooding. When she gets to the top, a giant skeletal hand emerges from the water and grabs her, and she explodes. Then somehow, we're in my neihbours back garden, and the hotel owner is chasing us with a gatling gun and we're running away. I fall over, and crawl into the bushes and wake up. That dream has happened about 5 times. Yay ¬.¬

I just had a strange dream last night. I dreamed I was back in high school again and I was trying to find some missing person or something in my neighborhood, like one of my neighbors or someone disappeared so we had a search party. But after swimming across a gigantic lake, I finally found him and then I walked home. Then the school bus came and I got on and went to the very back, but there were like no seats on the bus, it was just like an extremely long and pretty damn wide room once you stepped inside the bus. Then this strange girl I didn't even know went up to me and she then repeatedly punched me in the groin.

Then I woke up, weird...

Broccolli is no longer a recurring element in my dreams. Still hate it though.

Didn't there use to be a long-ass thread that had a lot of interesting dreams in it? Regardless, I'm going to keep posting here and looking at what others post, because I'm a bit of an amateur dream interpreter as well and it's always fun to analyze.

Funny thing about my dreams is I very often have 2 re-occurring dreams. One being that I can fly very often, usually escaping from something but also being afraid when I'm too high up as it feels like I'll lose control. The other one is some form of horror dream where I dream I'm walking on a dark road and suddenly a vehicle comes rushing at me. The white lights put me in some sort of coma because staring into them gives me a feeling that I can't escape the vehicle about to kill me. And I always watch myself getting killed by said vehicles.

I also often dream other types of horror dreams such as having a murderer chase me and my family (the murderer ofcourse, not being human) and I also often dream about zombie apocalypses. Said zombie dreams feel like they last for days and if I could remember every detail, I could probably produce some new zombie flicks. The weird thing is that very few dreams actually make me uncomfortable when I wake up, in fact they usually make me happy.

I've only had one or two lucid dreams my entire life, but plan on enhancing my ability to, as they say it can be practiced.

Sometimes when I play a specific game for too long I can dream about playing it the entire night, only I don't see the game through a screen, but through my own eyes. Those dreams actually make me very tired when I wake up, lol.

Anyway, I've been meaning to keep a dream diary anyway so I can list some here, starting tonight. Oh, another good thing about dreams is they give me inspiration for horror art. I already got a photograph concept thanks to my dreams, I just have to actualize it.

Dreams have always been a wondrous source for inspiration and a window to try and understand what goes on in our own minds. It's been said that our subconscience thoughts, desires, and even fears are the source for our dreams.

One of the most recurring dreams I used to have was floating over a darkly lit dinner table where unknown and finely dressed people gathered at candle light. I hovered as high as the ceiling, which was several stories it seemed. When they reveal the main dish, its nothing more than an empty plate however, when it's set at the table I would come falling down onto it. The "impact" of the fall would be so hard I'd twitch myself awake - like my body would react as if I had actually fallen. I've had several other "falling" dreams as well, slightly lucid. In it I'm just having an ordinary dream of walking or working but the mere thought of avoiding to fall actually causes me to trip and fall then I shake myself awake.

Like some of you, I too had a dream of playing a fantastic, fictional role too. In one, I and my friends became Super Sentai/Power Rangers! But instead of fighting crime we just dicked around and missused our super human abilities. At some point we did fight a monster but it looked as cheasy as the old Zyuranger monsters, in otherwords like an actor in a suit. But in death he blew up in a fiery explosion as they all do.

I recently had a zombie apocalypse dream too but for the life of me I can't remember it! In fact I just now remembered but only after reading about Eoweniel's own zombie dreams. That's what happens though, sometimes when you wake up dreams just fade away like footprints on the beach.

I have one. Coincidentally it's RE related!

I'm walking through a village at night. It looks almost the same as the pueblo in RE4. It's raining lightly and I see an elderly man walking beside the church. For some reason the walkway beside the church is now a paved parking lot. I dunno why. And I must've been playing Oblivion at the time because I remember crouching behind him hoping to get my sneak skill up and pickpocket him. The dream ends there.

But then I had the same dream again, but it went further. I followed the man around the parking lot and finally pickpocketed him. At that moment, the man fades away and says something to me but I forget what. Next thing I know, I'm walking back through the village and I see angry villagers staring at me with axes, pitchforks and torches. I quickly run inside the house (the one Leon runs into that triggers the Dr. Salvador cutscene). The villagers easily break in and apprehend me. I remember getting stabbed with a pitchfork, seeing the "You Died" screen with my body on the floor like in RE2 and waking up.

Then it all happened AGAIN. This time, I remembered what happened last time (weird) and I ran into the house on the opposite side. Once inside, the "camera angle" shifts to a static perspective and I can see myself walking through the room. As I go to pass through a doorway, the "camera" changes so that I was looking at myself from the front and above the doorway was a Licker, waiting with it's strange bladed scythe-hand kinda like a praying mantis. As I stepped through the doorway, I see the Licker decapitate me from above. And for some reason I remember somehow seeing that my health was in yellow caution. Yep... that's how it got me lol

I actually dreamt about Nemesis 2 nights ago! xD

I don't remember much of the details, basically the setting was my parents' house (where I'm currently at, to spend christmas/new year's etc) and he was just chasing me and my family all over the rooms. We seemed trapped in the house for some reason, making a break for it outside just didn't seem like a very sensible thing in the dream. So he roared, his tentacles wiggling, and he chased after me and I hid in my bed under the covers. I remember hearing the heavy thuds of footsteps as he walked away... And I thought I was safe after a few minutes because I figured he had gone downstairs again. Next thing I was crawling out of bed and I just see as a huge portion of my room's roof caves in and he comes crashing down, landing on his knees.

I actually woke up at this point because I also heard a thud IRL at the same time as the dream, and looking up (horrified) from my bed, I see kitty had jumped down from the windowsill. Stupid kitty scaring me. :P

Had a dream two nights ago. I don't remember much, but I was in a dark room. Sort of like the E3 conferences. There weren't any people there, but I could hear somebody talking to me. They said that Claire is going to be in RE6, that there will be zombies and it will be creepy. The man had a deep and solemn voice and it kinda made me happy and freaked out at the same time lol.

Just woke up and thought I'd share this strange dream I just had in this thread. I'll try to keep it brief by not going into a lot of detail, since the first half of the dream is very slow. It's like some cliche action movie lol

I was investigating a serial killer and trying to stop him. Well I stumbled across a clue, but couldn't make anything of it. Then about a week later I finally deciphered the clue and found out who the killer was. I realized I had to go tell someone else before I went to take down the killer, in case I failed in my mission. Well as I was about to leave my house to tell someone, I realized that there was a fat guy behind me in my house. They had a gun pointed at me, and since they had a draw on me first and I wasn't carrying my sidearm at the time, I was defenseless. I heard a bunch of gun shots, but I wasn't shot, instead the fat guy went down in a pool of blood. I then ran to try and get help, there was no time to grab my guns in the other room or dial 911.

It was almost pitch black outside, as it was like 3 AM. Well I did stumble into a large parking lot, and I found a guy. I tried to explain that someone was trying to kill me, but he must have just thought I was crazy and he just drove off. So I ran inside a video rental store that was apparently open 24/7. The person who shot the fat guy was in the store! It was this gorgeous gamer chick who had like purple (or maybe pink) hair. She saw me and opened fire, I ran out the door back into the parking lot.

As I was leaving the video rental store though, I heard the girl tell the guy who worked there to call the police. As I was proceeding to an open video game store across the parking lot, it hit me. I realized that she must have been investigating the murders too, but found evidence that I had been at the crime scene, as a result she thought I was the serial killer. The fat guy she killed who was going to kill me must have been someone the serial killer sent after me to stop me from killing him or telling the police. Well I entered the video game store, but the girl who worked there had extremely loud heavy metal music playing over the speakers, so we could barely hear each other as I tried to explain that I need to borrow her gun or at least for her to call the police (in case the guy in the video rental store didn't do it).

It was a very small store and there was nowhere to go, I was trapped in there as the girl who thought I was the serial killer entered. She then held me at gun point and forced me to go outside. I told her "wait, wait just hear me out first," and she agreed so we decided to work together to catch the criminal. And that's it, I'm not sure what happened after that. You can blame my alarm clock.

I have no idea what last nights dream was about. There was like a massive dust storm or something, but it wasn't dust. It sort of felt like slush, but it was warm and black. Maybe a mixture of snow and ash or something. And for some reason, this stuff was very destructive. As the storm became stronger, it would actually start to dicintegrate peoples houses. For some reason, our house was in the parking lot of our local grocery store and the grocery store was apparently the only safe haven from the storm. We had to get there somehow, but the storm was starting to destroy the house.

I just remember my step-sister and I running out of the house and seeing the storm completely destroy the house. We hit the ground so we wouldn't be hit by any flying debris from the house or the storm. She was screaming with fear, but for some reason in my head I heard a voice say "show no fear" and I just layed there until it was safe to get up. Once we got into the grocery store, I remember thinking "Ah shit. My Resident Evil stuff was in that damn house." XD
