Eoweniel: The 3DS is pretty awesome so far and it's a bit unfortunate that you won't be able to really experience the 3D. My friend can't see the 3DS 3D either because one eye is farsighted and the other is near sighted. At least the 3D is never really required. There are some games like Super Mario Land 3D though that have spots that recommend the 3D because without it you can't really see what's going on lol

I don't loathe it or anything, though I wouldn't say I'm impressed or a fan of it. Much more impressed with the route Vita is taking, usable features > gimmick.

Really? I love 3D. Of course not 100% of the time but overall I like it a lot. But everyone has their own opinions.

I love the 3DS so far. However, I have to agree with you. While I love the 3D in the 3DS it does seem like the vita is taking a much smarter and more feature-full approach. I'm just gonna wait out buying it for a bit because I thought the same thing with the PSP and ended up using my DS way more than I did the PSP. Just feels like there were a hell of a lot more fun games on the DS. That could change with the Vita though. Saw a preview for ultimate MvC3 on Vita and got to say really got me second guessing my decision to wait lol

The only time the 3D has really impressed me was in the Luigi's Mansion 2 trailer. It adds much more depth to what would seem like very small rooms and hallways.

I can only focus one eye myself and I can't see the 3d because of it. But its no big loss. I play games for the games not for gimmicks like 3d
