Slightly off topic but I was challenged at a supermarket till the other day to see IF i was over 25.The operator nearly fell of thire chair when they realized I was 40 with the date on my drivers licence. They asked what cream I used even more shock when I said "Never Have used any" and walked off.

T'was more so the jab about being homo (not that there's anything wrong with that) that struck me as rude... I can take a joke, but come on, that was a kick to the ol' sack.

Him asking if your ex was male wasn't really anything to take offense by. It was just the combination of posts that gave off the offensive vibe. Questioning if someone's *** then saying you look like a pretty boy followed by "My intent was not to flatter, believe me" that came off like 'either you're gay or you just look really gay'. Because that last line especially implies negative intentions behind it all. Add in the 'i'm going to go take a shit' and yeah. It's not hard to see why anyone would see your posts as being offensive and mean spirited.

Regardless, glad to see it resolved and that no one's feelings truly got hurt. Unless you're close friends with someone and they know you well enough to 'know' what you mean when you say it, it's a very slippery slope to be making comments about someones looks without risking offending them or coming off like an ass.
