I whole heartily agree with you that the movies are complete and utter shit, and while I may add that I havent and will not ever view another RE film since I saw the 2nd one. I dont think its Millas fault, maybe her stinkin husbands tho. George Romero should have directed like he was supposed to.. his script was great. Also, Gravedigger, the movies sell so well because RE movies are the kind of movies, people just see because theres nothing else to do on friday so they pick a random movie.

Oh my This is in Facebook... I kinda hate Mila too. but it's the writers of the movie's fault, they ruin the image of the game they mixed up all together the games in one movie with a different lead character and the main characters in the game are supporting characters only..

God, NO! While I am a fan of George A. Romero, if he used that script it would've been just as bad. As one of his films: it would've been good, almost Dawn good, but as an RE film:NOOOO.

I think many of us here would take Romero's take on the story over Anderson's. Apparently the 4th movie is garbage, so I'm probably going to give it a miss.

How would Romero's film have been as bad as Anderson's? Romero at least kept the general idea and characters in tact. Yes, there were some drastic changes to the storyline and characters, but, the general overall plot was there, the monsters were well represented, and the characters were all there even if they weren't exactly like the games.

Anyone who would have complained about romero's script would be the TRUE biased fanboys. We didn't need an exact recreation of the game in movie format. If you expected that from the movies you were never going to be pleased with the movies. But, at least Romero's script gave a tolerable representation of the games.

And Milla is to blame just as much as Anderson for the RE films. She's the one who pushed incredibly for the movies to focus on action and her doing all kinds of stupid stunts because she wanted to be an action star. Pretty much whatever she asked for, Anderson did.

I used to like and be ok with her. but after the wesker fight, plot of RE5, and seeing the trailer for 3 musketeers I cant stand her now.

I actually used to like Milla before the Resident Evil movies but after Apocalypse, my dislike for her grew with every new release.

And I can't believe that some of you think that she doesn't have a big influence on Paul and the movies. She's his wife lmfao. She's the one on her back every night, of course he'll give her as much screen time and idiotic stunts in slow-motion as she wants as long as he wants to get the puss-puss.

Of course I'm not saying that it's all her fault. It's his fault as well. He's the one paying people to play the Resident Evil games for him instead of experiencing the story, the characters and the atmosphere for himself.

Whoa whoa whoa. Ali Larter may not be a good Claire or even a good actress, but don't call her names just because she doesn't know about a video game company. You have to remember that with everyone's hobbies come things they know about that other people might not know.

Yes, maybe she should have studied her projects a bit more to understand what she was getting herself into, but then again, the movies are nothing like the games, so I guess it'd be a waste. I'm not saying I like her, but lets not start bitch-shaming and etc.
