Some of these are actually a little more creative than they may seem. It looked like defeat El Gigante or Del Lago, but it actually has to do with some 'other tactics.' I like it.

I got a bone to pick with Raptr about something. When I went to look at the notifications about trophies I've earned from Bio 4 it says Resident Evil 4...Bastards get it right lol!

Added my points. Sitting here patiently waiting for it to release so i can start the d/l. Supposedly it's like 4-6gb, so it'll be awhile before I can play it. So wanna get the d/l going as soon as possible.

Just went through the first 4 achievements. Pretty nice to have. Like others though, I would have appreciated more detailed ones.

Another great addition is the online leaderboards. While I would have liked more detailed stats, I like being able to see our friends completion times. I know ill be watching this soon enough to see others "bio-peen's" show off...
(I know that last statment was wrong.. )

In what respect mate? I mean looking through them they're merely progress-related - what should i be doing specifically to get the achievements?

Didn't even touch this yesterday, ploughed through Gears 3 instead so i'll be getting into this shortly.

There's only one that they actually put some thought into, and if you think about it for a second it's a pretty good one. Other than that one you are correct Stu the rest are progress related.

Yeah, shooting the water made me chuckle, decent (or rather funny) achievement. Honestly though, you are right. They put no time into it. While playing I felt I should be doing certain things for the 100% such as maxing health, upgrading all weapons, etc. But alas, that all means nothing. Also I thought Gigante fight was something special, as in dodge the tree and take no damage, but it was just to defeat him. So in a sense I retract my prior statement, their cake. Not crying about the easy 1K, but it would have been nice to have something to show for knowing the game inside and out.

Oh well, we can all do limited and fun runs while in a party now and there are leaderboards for speed runs.

The achievements are such an incredible let down, there's no getting away from that.

Didn't Orange Box pack something like 99 achievements across five games? Given an hour, i reckon you could come up with at least a hundred for Resident Evil 4!

In fact had Capcom put any effort into them - i'd be happy to call this the definitive version of Resident Evil 4. With them offering so little to the actual package though, the Wii still edges it for me.
