This is a thread to discuss the achievements found in Biohazard 4 HD. Tips, help or general experiences. Feel free to post up.

PlayStation 3 version has 12 trophies consisting of one gold, two silver and nine bronze.
Xbox 360 has 12 achievements worth 1000G.

Really basic list. I would have thought the list would have at least contained some tougher Mercenaries stuff, obtaining the Handcannon, huge pesetas stash or at least every weapon upgrade. As it stands though, it'll be a fun road through every ounce of the game again. Plus we'll have leaderboards for other forms of competition.

Though I picked up the collector's box, I'm waiting on the 360 versions next week to really go in with the game. Controller for BH4, retail achievements, XBL parties, etc. Will play around until then, should be fun. Can't wait to go through this game again.

Just curious, I know this isn't the right thread but how does one acquire the Rocket Launcher in CVX?

I never earned it on account of being a scrub.

I might actually appreciate RE4 more on 360 solely because I might care to actually play it more this time. Didn't get the GC till the end of it's life cycle and I got addicted to being 'online' on xbox that being 'offline' on GC was just kinda meh by comparison. So RE4 and such only got about 3 play throughs in total from me.

With the achievements and all, it gives me a reason to replay through the game a bit and give it another chance.

Wow those are terrible. Not one interesting one in the bunch.

The only one that is remotely a challenge would be the bottle caps. Of course, I never bothered with any of them to begin with, except for Ada .

Just bought a 120gb HDD and a transfer cable for my 360 just for RE4 and CVX since they're both supposed to be like 4-5gb each and I 'barely' had 1gb free on my original 20gb HDD.

Now I have 100gb free and I'm quite pleased and happy. Can't wait for Tuesday :)

Just finished it and I've got mixed feelings about this. On one hand, the game is finally playable on HD sets without looking like a blurry mess, but on the other there are no improvements whatsoever. The momentary slowdown that cvxfreak spoke of does pop in very randomly under very specific conditions. But as I mentioned, there is a good chance that the 360 game is safe in that regard because of its inherent similarity to the GC hardware (eDRAM use with layered effects). Worst yet, the SW cutscenes are still 480i vids, not realtime so they look like blurry messes.

Also, the port was largely outsourced to a Taiwanese developer. It could've been a lot better and frankly, the game deserved better.

The game is as good as it ever was, but I'd give this port a 7 personally.

I'm going to dedicate some time to it today myself. Of course, I won't notice the things you talk about because of my old eyes, but I will enjoy every minute of this until it releases on the xbox lol.
