The info is definitely fake - I would not trust anyone who steals a pic from some other site.

The trailer is most likely fake too, especially with the account closure from the vid owner - note that it was NOT a copyright claim - he just closed his 1 video account after the video has already gone viral and mirror'ed elsewhere. And from other forums - people have pointed out that the Japanese subs were terribly translated and probably made from Google translate.

So far today, I got trolled 3 times already with fake RE6 news :(

Yeah, I'm still waiting on Bio Weapon to show up and explain the matter about the desert picture, now proven to be fake and from another artist not related to Capcom...

As for the trailer, I'm not sure, various major gaming sites have reported it, like Kotaku and Gamekyo for example. I hope it's not fake, anyway.

I hope it's not fake as well. Short teaser but definitely intriguing. Can't wait to see where they go with this. I thought it was supposed to be a reboot but from the news it sounds like that's not the case lol

The artist is canadian. Blue castle a canadian capcom studio.
That art is legit if capcom outsourced some of the re6 production to blue castle, considering they did a good job with dead rising.
Now I really hope this isn't true, western devs need to stay away from our beloved franchise (ORC AHEM).

Reboot can mean anything though. RE4 was a reboot in terms of gameplay yet it still had the same characters from the same universe.

This will probably be a reboot in terms of whats within the game. Maybe a new health system, new weapon system, new engine, new camera..etc.

Kotaku just grabbed the cam trailer from youtube and that's all, that's not a proof that this is real, not saying it's not anyway. I can't access to that ign link for some reason.
