Alright, so this topic has 2 purposes.
First of all, let me share with you the crazy RE5-related story, based on the journey I embarked upon yesterday.

OK, so I've been playing through Professional since I never got around to doing it back when I got RE5. Everything has gone relatively smoothly and I even managed to get a few S-ranks in some chapters during the first playthrough. But my COD (as Barry would say), the Jill/Wesker fight was ridiculously difficult with the AI. As you know, the AI partner is a tad retarded at times and seems to have a rather stupid will of its own, BUT I was stubborn and wanted to see if it was possible to beat this fight in Professional with said partner. Yep, it is! Only it took about... 96 deaths. 90% of those being the AI partner screwing up. So yeah, basically I stayed up late last night, did 96 retries of this fight and FINALLY managed to have Jill not shoot at Chris while Wesker managed to stay away from us. I had to stay near Chris so we could heal eachother, should Jill pull some dirty tricks. But WOOHOO I did it!

Second of all... To the request-part of this topic. Now that I've beaten the game on professional, I want to unlock the S-rank in all professional chapters. Agh, I know, it will be a huge pain in the ass but I'm looking for someone who's patient and not too kill-greedy (cause it will affect the rank) who wants to do some chapters with me from time to time. I won't chain these chapters since doing so might take a toll on my insanity, especially after last night.

What I require from you is to be calm, patient, yet knowledgeable. You have to understand that I have a somewhat special playstyle. I don't just burst in and nuke shit, unless I have the rocket launcher and know the exact positioning of the enemies. If we're going to play on limited ammo mode, this is especially important for you to keep in mind. I would however prefer to play in inf. ammo mode, just until I get the ranks. Then, I can just have fun later.
You also have to be generous with sharing the kills, because like I said, I may not be as aggressive as you in terms of playstyle, and also keep in mind that I have an eye disability that makes it hard for me to spot enemies really quickly.
Also, what I would prefer is voice chat through XBL. I don't want to have to rely on the few voice commands you get ingame. :P Plus, it can be fun to talk and joke around a bit during gameplay!

So, whoever is interested in this (besides my already added friends), feel free to add me on XBL or shoot me a PM here on Biohaze.

I would love to, but unfortunately my microphone is broken and I don't have XBL gold membership at the moment.

Thanks guys, but herpa derp, turns out I unlocked the last statue I needed for the "They're action figures!"-achievement, so I don't -need- to do this anymore. It would still be cool to try for as many S-ranks as possible for the sake of having fun with someone, though. :)

You know I'm always willing whenever I'm available. Thursday and Friday are typically my days off so. Also, the Wesker/Jill fight is pretty simple if you know the battle plan from the getgo. Just immediately dart for jill the second the battle starts, like literally as the screen is fading in you should already be running while Wesker is standing there grinning and 180, grab her and toss her.

If you're using infinite ammo just put Sheva on Attack so she'll fire at wesker and distract him. When his back is to you and he's busy with Sheva aka not going to dodge your shots, put Sheva on Cover and immediatley fire the L. Hawk into his back 2-3 times. It should stun him, you can then run up and perform the melee combo on him. It's like X, A, X, B, X+A, something like that. I know it by heart when I press it but thinking of the actual buttons feels off for some reason.

Anyway, Jill should be getting up by that point, go flip her again and wash rinse repeat the whole process. The AI can be a pain in the ass, especially on professional. She can definitely get you killed through no fault of your own. But, if you know 'how' to deal with her and basically treat her like a dog, it's not too bad.

And last but not least, don't bring any F-aids. Just rely on Rescusitate. First Aids will likely cause you to die constantly on that fight because of the delay in the animation before you're actually revived, and Sheva likes to randomly be wherever the hell at any given time. Resuscitate is instant and will save you far more often, pending Sheva doesn't decide she wants to stand next to you and just stand there and watch you bleed out like she tends to do sometimes. Begging for help tends to help curve that notion a bit though. Not full proof but usually if you beg for help she'll actually revive you compaired to just standing there and waiting on her in which she'll just stand there and watch like a moron.

I tried the above method but most of the times, Jill would just start shooting or Wesker would kick Chris to the curb (I play as Sheva), so what I had to do is I ran off to the door to the right to try to separate Jill and Wesker. That worked much better for me.

I don't know if playing as Chris means the AI Sheva wants to go after Wesker, or if the AI always wants to go with Jill. But since I couldn't trust him with dealing with Jill alone I had to help him throw her, heal him, while dealing with Wesker if he stumbled upon us.
I also tried the no first aid method and I -always- hit the "Help!" button as soon as I need it, but most of the time since Chris is busy chasing Jill he won't stop doing what he's doing, so I'd die eitherway. I also tried calling him back to me constantly, basically separating Jill and Wesker but avoiding Jill and fighting Wesker 2 on one, but I literally had to press the button -all- the time, and it was really messing up everything else I was doing.

The Chris and Sheva AI's are in fact slightly different, amazingly enough. I always play as Chris with Sheva AI so I'm used to how she responds (which can be equally as dumb). But, if you treat her like a dog and know exactly how to control her, she becomes more responsive and helpful (though still can get you killed unfairly, on Pro anyway). Haven't really had much experience with the Chris AI so couldn't tell you exactly how to go about it the same. Glad you were able to clear it eventually though.
