Know any tricks, glitches, or hacks for LiN? If so, share?

I dont have bugs of LIN, only of story mode

You can get the 12th Guardian of Insanity killed. He's the one that you see only for a second when you first enter the prison area. He's not the same Guardian that you eventually might find up on that second floor. He simply walks by then the game removes him from the map. But, you can kill him if you grenade him and your partner gets up there in time. You just need to keep him in place because he won't attack you, he'll just keep moving towards the stairs then just dissapear once he reaches them. Thanks to Foxy for teaching me that one. It's the only one I didn't figure out on my own.


Also in the area with the two halves of the crest you have to get to unlock the gate that triggers chris and jill falling into the final area of LiN before Wesker. If there's two guardians, you can get one of them to suicide and jump to his death. It involves you luring both to the gap in the walkway near the corner and jumping on angles. They'll keep jumping after you and one will sometimes get glitched and not make the jump and fall to his death.

Also in the area with the spiral tower and the key behind a spiked gate you have to open with the crank. If you lock your partner behind the gate, the Guardian there will sit walking at the gate towards them and not be able to hurt them. While the other player can simply shoot their eye from behind and melee them and the player behind the gate can knife him to death. ONLY works on Co-op though. Will not work on single player since the Guardian will ignore AI partner and go after the human player.

There's other stuff too but I need to get off the PC shortly so I'll save it for another time. But, those are some of the things I've learned during my sessions in LiN.

This is a pretty common, but useless glitch in LiN. The Sailor that is supposed to be at the top of the stairs when you run up them, the first one you fight when you get to the prison part, will sometimes spawn at the door you came in from instead of on the second floor. He'll walk up from where you came. I wonder how he gets there! Also, for the Sailor that attacks you when one person gets caught in the spikey room won't hit you if you run into the Study with the computer. He'll just walk around and walk out the door. You can shoot him and everything. If you do two melees, he will swing at you, but other than that, he's as harmless as a kitten :D A kitten with no legs or teeth, that is.

Just to add to this, you can also lock the guardians in there. It's fun just trying due to so many things that can go wrong.

Not worth it in my opinion. As you mentioned, too much can go wrong. You're more likely to get your partner locked in there with him which will not end well. I also wouldn't really call it a glitch. But, either way.

It's probably fun to try though. XD
