These scores are for Reunion, eh? They all should be achievable if we keep the bosses alive until the end of the combo.

My highest score for Duo so far is 925k on AR. I was actually Rebecca. I sorta just fell into a groove and was able to do quite well.

I've been trying some runs with other characters. And yes they are achievable.

Ancient Ruins I am not used too. Rebecca is awesome to use, her spray melee pwns and has good range for multi kills.

It took me a while to get used to head shots with her. It is a little different than Wesker and co. Sheva Business is the same way for me.

The AR run was with a random. We just managed to get a 150 combo. I think we killed more than 150 too, which spikes the score. We hit a majority of the timers first before we started killing. I know most Mercenaries pros just hit them and fight immediately in the right locations. Who knows where those are.

Prison is a bit of a pain in the ass for me. I only scored 782k while I aim to break 800k then 900k.

I say we should update this tier list, as well as make one for Reunion.

Of course, these characters are much more balanced then regular mercs and they can all do well regardless, this is how I feel they stand though. Feel free to debate either tier, love to hear what others think.

Heavy Metal Chris has such great potential, I think, as long as he is partnered with someone who can deal with the bosses (either Sheva or Barry). Using his stun rod gives the +5 time bonus like the melee, and if you are in a crowd, you can stack +5's without using the time to do each melee individually. It doesn't seem like he should be C tier, but at the same time, I can understand...Poor Chris ><

Are these listings solo capability, duo capability, or just overall?

Heavy Metal is great, no one is denying that (well, obZen might) however, every other character is better. I'm just using letters to distinguish where the major gaps are between the characters.

Hmm I think Tribal Sheva should be put in B tho and Safari Chris moved down to C

There's no way that is correct, sorry. Tribal sheva has no way to melee outside of her ice rounds, which run out quick, meanwhile Safari chris is very close to midnight wesker in playstyle, very rarely does a headshot + punch not kill a majini, and Safari chris can instantly kill two bosses. Safari is B tier.

Foxy, your tier list is almost correct. The only error I see is the placement of Battlesuit Jill and BSAA Jill. They should be reversed. Battlesuit Jill is good on stages like PA, MA, and such. But she is absolutely awful at the wetland stages and is weak in stages with lots of cephalos. BSAA Jill can do well with wetland whereas BS Jill struggles massively. Take BSAA Jill for a spin on AR or Village solo, and then BS Jill, and you'll notice a difference. Hell, even a solo BSAA Chris can be more effective than BS Jill in a wetland stage. BS Jill is not as versatile as BSAA Jill. And people need to get off the thought that BSAA Jill is weak at taking on bosses. Constant MP5 fire will keep a boss at bay. Not to mention the MP5 has piercing so it can kill manjini in front of and behind bosses or set up even more melees. The only boss that BSAA Jill has problems with is the red executioner.

Also certain characters do better on certain stages. For instance, STARS Chris can be very effective on nearly every stage. A good STARS Chris player can easily achieve 500K on stages like Ship Deck and Missile Area, where it is harder for Jills on solo. He is also a better choice with the wetland stages as well. He just takes more effort and strategy to do so. And this is coming from a very devout BS Jill and BSAA Chris main.

STARS Chris would be just under STARS Wesker as overall best character in old Mercs. If Wesker weren't around, him and BSAA Jill would rule the pack. STARS Chris may not be able to get multiple melees like Jill, but his melee setups are much quicker (stomp has much less recovery time than DKD), the GL is a huge help, and the magnum makes melees on bosses much simpler. A Jill might slightly edge out a STARS Chris in duo due to being able to kill multiple manjinis quicker. But I have seen several STARS Chris players who have scores on par with or better than Jill player. So basically STARS Chris and BSAA Jill should move up to tier A and Battlesuit Jill the top of tier B.

Your reunion tier list is accurate though. Just switch Warrior Chris and josh's positions.
