Just got a new xbox finally and looking to get back into Versus. Looking for a partner, preferably experienced and knows what they're doing so I don't have to do 2vs1 matches.

Gold edition is only $20 on the psn store i believe...
the RE5 community on psn is full of idiots anyway, so you're actually doing yourself a favor by staying away haha

Had some fun teaming with Cody tonight.

Had one idiot thinking he won the match by killing cody in the last 10 seconds and thanking and taunting him but I easily killed his partner and held them their until half a second was left on the clock and haymakered her for the double points to wipe the grin off the jackasses face.

Then had another team trying to freeze me with nitrogen rounds constantly for the melee/shotgun combo but I avoided them left and right and bounced grenades off a railing down onto them below and blew their asses up and took their precious grenade launcher away from them.

And then had another team that actually pissed me off because they were cheating. One got grabbed by a majini and I used the shotgun + melee combo on her and put her into dying. Went up to her to haymaker her and she revived herself out of dying and killed me with her shotgun then thanked and taunted. Her partner was on the other side of the map fighting Cody so no way she got revived by her. And no way someone survives a shotgun + melee hit while being grabbed. She was clearly in dying status and revived herself out of it which is nonsense. Then went and discarded all the weapons to prevent a comeback. Total bullocks match.

Other than that, had a lot of fun. I missed Versus :)

Not sure how you do it Ikari. I tried playing survivors the other day (I hate it so much I stopped almost altogether), and I despised it. Its such a stupid mode when you play something like Gears of War 3 and even ORC's versus mode. Its just amazing that I'm seeing the SAME people still play the SAME levels and thinking they are godly because they are beating up on me and some new player. You must have the patience of a saint to put up with cheaters on top of everything.

Slayers is much more tolerable for some reason.

Had that happen to me a few times... a few spare flashes in the end have literally won me the game few times, so whew.

I hate grenade launchers. I only play in PA, mines, and village. (if I'm with friends, i try the other stages too, but) I always discard all grenade launchers in the mines.

I've been playing VS since Gold edition was out, and I've had a few times
where i got really bored of the same maps again, and again... but I always
go back to it for some reason, no matter what game I just bought. Dedication
might have something to do with making me come back so much.

For a while now, I've been kicking new/bad players
because they truly make the game boring.... once in a blue moon I get host
hunted, and although i don't win every time, its much more fun than dealing
with new players which join my session about 70% of the time :/

Slayers is what puts me to sleep.
