Haven't been able to download Degeneration since it was released, everytime it's messed up on me. Last night i connected to the service through my wi-fi though and got the game, finally.

It's actually pretty decent, makes me realise that the RE4 phone version that was coming would've been perfectly acceptable.

As we know, it's sticking to the new game's camera view. Leon is controlled by the d-pad, with your gun being aimed pressing the middle button, pressing it again will fire, and one of two buttons will holster your weapon. Can be a little annoying, but it's a limitation you soon get used to.

I'm only upto level three so far, but it's nu-classic Resident Evil. There's zombies, there's Hunnigan chipping in with help (maybe a little too much), QTEs done really well, a Merchant, and a stalking Tyrant!

Once i've finished it i'll probably put together a really in-depth piece on it to fill in the gaps for those who haven't picked it up yet. Needless to say, the iPhone/iPod Touch version should really fix this game up really well!

I was wondering why there was no tread about this game, it looks pretty sweet, but...it's sorta crappy how it's a game adaption of Degeneration and there's no Claire...and the Merchant is back. This is good.

It's a solid 7/10 all the way for sure, but it's so faithful to the new Resident Evil games. It's the controls and lack of more than three or four zombies on screen that let it down. I can imagine the iPod/iPhone version fixing both of these dramatically.

Oh, it's A merchant, not THE merchant unfortunately. Played by a special ops soldier looking to make some money from ammo and weaponry lost on site...i think i'm remember it rightly!

DANG, that's just crappy...what's so unbelievible about a Not-Spanish Merchant from Not Spain in a Midwestern town seeking money and treasures after recovering from minor burns due to an C4-caused Island size explosion? Anyways, atleast Tyrants are back...what weapons does this crappy poser merchant sell?

Just completed the game, had a lot of fun! Total time was 1.26:17 on Easy mode, killed 4 times. Can definitely see myself going through it again and again though!

Cute little note...the game even has achievements! haha

Had a quick blast on Mercs mode, again, it's so faithful to the new Resident Evil games we get. Currently ranked 108th in the world on Baggage Handling. There's two maps, with only playable character, with three different weapon loadouts. Other than that it's a fully blown Mercs mode with combos, pickups, time add-ons.

Brilliant game, best mobile game i've played since Worms Golf! Will definitely do a more in-depth features on the game, either for my blog, the site, or just the forums.

Nice! From what I can tell, the game looks really good, it's a mix of new RE with old RE which is pretty sweet, problem is, I don't have a cell phone right now, iPod or iPhone. I'm hoping I can get a second-hand iPod to play the game as well as Silent Hill: Escape in addition to my favorite music. So, can you tell me about the New Game+, I can't find any real specifics about the game.

How much do you have to pay for this Stu?

How much of a threat do zombies pose with that type of gameplay?

Also, did they fix that damn codec? It looks like they made it in MS Paint.

Think the game cost £6...it'll be billed to my phonebill, which goes out of the missus' bank account, so i'll have to check to confirm.

I only played the game in easy mode, which i'm assuming slowed the zombies down considerably, only remember being grabbed a couple of times. There are still a few moments of panic in the game when you trying to take them down quickly.

And the codec's had a little more detail put into it.
