Im sure theres lots of people who disaproove of these i normally am, Untill my house caught fire and took all my systems and games with it....so im anoyed and desprate its gunna be a realy long time before i can replace them.

After i lost evrything and am now in somewhat of a stable situation iv been Geting the RE crave i figured the internet should have someplace i can play some of the older RE's online (im rly just looking for re1,2,3 ) and i came across system emulators, only to be driven insane trying to figure them out so i was wondering if anyone has any pointers what im trying to do is...

1) get a playstation emulator and any pluggins need'd to make it run
2) Be able to download the games directly onto my comp, without putting them on a disk and playing them right off my computer.

Step 2 is mostly what drove me nuts but idk if i ever got the PS emulator i found running eather cause i couldnt get any games to work so i could test it

this is all extreamly confuseing to me and idk what to do, its gunna be hard enough to get another xbox and re5 when its out and id like to replay the first 3 re's before then.

I thank anyone for the help and i dont evan no if what im trying to do is possible but i hope so.

Usually these get locked, however my sympathies for your loss. Though I have original copies, I too use emulation at times. Emu doesn't always mean stealing. There are many benefits to certain emulation programs (graphics, sound) and downloading game files (mods, patches, etc.) For instance I use a PlayStation emulator to play the games with a hacked GUI and sound core. Over HDMI using the provided hacks the games look much better on an HDTV.

Your best bet is downloading ePSXe (1.7.0):

http://www.epsxe.com/download.php

And the ISO's here:

http://www.snesorama.us/board/index.php?

You can directly play the ISO's via ePSXe. After getting aquainted with it you can also set up controllers (PS brand if preferred), virtual memory cards and even add plug ins for superior sound and graphics.

You can Find These RE1, RE2, RE3 Games on the PC, so why get an emulator when there's a PC Version, If Yama Approves, i can PM you a couple of links with the game ISO's so you can install them.

Im not gunna bother you with this much more i thank you for the help already, just figureing out these ISO's so i can download them directly to and play off my comp should be the last thing i think.

Thank you agien.

An iso is a disc image. Simply download a game and there should be a sizable iso file within the folder. Load the iso and play via ePSXe.

Emu's also help with getting quality screenshots. I remember back when I was making a biohazard section to the interactive palace chat I used to run, I went through the original RE1 on emu and took a cap of every single room and camera angle in the game with chris standing in one spot, then took a second picture with him standing in another spot, then layered them over one another to get a blank chris-less shot of the room.

That brings back memories of playing through all of RE1 entirely on a keyboard as chris. It was a bit difficult, but, I am happy to be able to add beating RE1 like that to my accomplishments with RE lol

PM'ed, Just out of curiosity, why play RE1,2 and 3 on the emulators while there's PC versions? xD

i still remeber the installation of RE1, it required direct X 6 .

Anyway, i'll be doing what IkariWarriorKH did: Taking some screenshots for RE:CVX on the ps2 emulator :P 1600x1200 resolution  that's if i find a nice walkthrough :P

Dont forget that if you use emulators to play games you already owned, which is what you are doing, its perfectly legal, so dont worry.

Yama what is this about mods and stuff?
