Which voice cast of the main 8 survivors do you guys prefer, I'm more partial to the ones in file 1 myself.

Im mixed in oppinion... they sound too similar.. (well Jims voice is a bit more high pitched in F2)

File 1 sounded professional. File 2, some had similar voices, it's hard to tell if it was the same people for some characters, but they all sound so insincere and fake whenever they express themselves. I love File 1. File 2 is only good at comedic value.

Maybe it because I knew file 1 longer, but file 2's voices just seemed like hollow versions of the original characters. I think the worst one for file 2 was Mark, mainly because he seemed to go up in pitch.

I disagree... They dont seem hollow too me... sure they are a little bit under-stressed compared to File 1 but they are not hollow... also Mark sounds more like an old black man (which he is) compared to File 1

I respectfully disagree. Mark may have sounded more black but he seemed to loose the heaviness his voice should of had. file 2's version was ok, but i liked the deep southern voice better in file 1. As for the rest...I don't know what exactly, but they all seemed to be missing something.

Ok after wasting time listening to the whole voice collection i can safely say that Mark sounds a bit younger/less Gruff in F2 than F1... Jim sounds more like a 16 year old... Kevin sounds the same... David is a bit more native american.... and I didnt bother analysing yoko, cindy, alyssa, and George...

The second game's voice cast sound like shitty Anime actors they hired when they realized they spent their budget on everything else. I swear to god, I didn't actually think it was possible for Cindy's voice to get even more annoying.

The first game's cast actually sound like they're trying to give the characters depth. Hell, even David's growling was more interesting than his weird "fat guy" voice in the second game.

Don't even get me started on the NPC voices in File 2.

"Mmm... Mm! Yeah... Wait! Mhm! I'm sorry."

Golden.

The file 2 cast grew on me, despite how pathetic some of them are. Ad libs suck in general anyway.
