Customizable controls is honestly a very funny request, because Outbreak DID have that, just hit select while playin and you can change what buttons do what.

Also the game already has 3 to 5 costumes per character, not counting the countless amount of NPCs, why would we need more?

Yes, outbreak is very hard to port, considering that they would have to enchance graphics, overhaul the online capabilities, add trophies / achievements, include voice chat and other stuff.... It would really be easier to just make a new game from scratch.

Um, no it wouldn't be. They ported MvC2 to the 360, making it HD and ADDING online play to it, wouldn't be any different from that.

There are a ton of NPCs. Having the hidden ones would be a plus in my book, though. Also, maybe a redistribution of the character types because George owns probably over half the extra characters. This strikes me as an odd request, as well... most people prefer the original eight over the NPCs.

Optional voice chat would be fine (especially if it worked depending on distance like footsteps and the ad libs).

There's a ton of technical aspects that could do with some changing (like how long it takes to ready the weapon stance), but that's just nitpicking.

All I'm really looking for is a straight port.

Hmmm how about some actual RE characters... like leon or something (of course they have to be either from RE1, 2, 3....
also bigger levels and a higher player cap for each level... so it can be like 6 chars in a level

Well done for taking a moment to at least see what the thread was about.

What I'd take: Ported, online.

What I realistically desire: Ported, rendering at a higher resolution, upgraded online servers, both games in one (DL or Disc).

What I dream of: The above, OBF2 mechanics in OB, scrapped scenarios redone and added as DLC.

This would be perfect. This would also give me and people like me to give Outbreak another go. I never really gave the game a chance and would love to give it another try.

Same here, I never played the Outbreaks online (File 1 didn't even feature the online in Europe) I would like to experience the online coop.

I'll add myself to Sun and Bubbaq in that I've never experienced them online as well. Hell, I haven't really bothered to play them at all, I'm kinda lame like that. I have them sitting with the rest of my last gen games in my bin, collecting dust.

Same here as well. I never got to play Outbreak online. The servers were already down by the time I picked Outbreak 2 up, and Outbreak 1 has no online here either.

I played a lot of single player though. Loved it.
