Speaking of which does anyone know what the name of the song being played in the train is called? Or if it's a beta track? I don't recall it being in the GC version then again I haven't played it in a long time. Please let me know :)

I guess no one knows? I don't think it made it to the final anyway. It sounds great though! Also the title screen voice over is just great! :)

It would be awesome if like for the RE6 Special Edition they included the unfinished versions of Re1.5,3.5, and maybe 0.5, as well as the early version of code veronica that would be the ultimate special edition ever!

Why would you want to play an unfinished game?

Maybe to see what wasn't good enough to make it to the final version?
Or, if your a hardcore fan, just for the experience and research.
What if there was a Beta of File # 3 and the final game was never released? Wouldn't you want to see/ play the scenarios that weren't released?

Sorry for bringing this thread back to life, but, upon reading it, I noticed someone mentioned a 0.5 RE? I'd like to hear some details about that.

It would just be .5 really. anyway the n64 version was almost eactly the same. i think they even had the same voices. the only known difference that wasnt cosmetic was that Edward's hand was taken by the zomie dogs. that hand was supposed to be the one found in the originals opening. why they changed that i don't know but i wish they kept it.

Oh, you mean .5 as in before 0? Bummer. I thought the first RE had a beta version for a second.

Oh, my bad, I thought you were talking about a beta for zero. Yes there are a few betas for the first. I have a couple but the're nothing special. Just test versions sent to journalists. there was a beta that had chris and jill in the same scenario. I believe they actually tried to do a zapping system but it was redesigned. there was also a feature where clothes would be torn in battle. they've tried to add it in a few games since then but its never panned out. Bodies and enimy placement was different . There was a first person build at one point but i've only seen one shot of that. some of the mansion was redesigned but not by much.

That sounds pretty interesting. Is there any existent footage of that?
