Hey, if it includes Widescreen support and Progressive Scan, I'm all for the port. Oh and, GameCube control support is a MUST!

Honestly, (as I believe it was mentioned earlier), if this sells well, expect EVERY RE game on Wii. While I highly doubt it, maybe we'll get the definitive RE2 (Dreamcast + N64) finally.

I'll gladly rebuy all of them not just for my collection, but also for 16x9 and 480p, regardless of how bad RE2 looks in VGA on Dreamcast.

Well since they won't likely remake RE2 and RE3 for the wii....they just might put the games together into some kind of double edition type deal....I'd buy that.

It releases July 10th, anybody importing? I'm going to put in my order in a day or so.

Do you really believe that this port is worth importing, Yama? If so, what are your reasons; I'm curious. As I stated before in this thread, I think it seems a little redundant, with the GCN version being compatible with the Wii and all.
Motion controls don't really sell this title for me. Do you know if it has any extra features added save for Wii-mote compatibility?

Simply to play through it for the sake of experiencing the differences and comparing to the original release. I have all versions for each title and while I do collect them, it's for the gaming experience as well. I've played them all to enjoy each title and appreciate the uniqueness from version to version.

I probably won't need to reserve the game in Japan. I doubt the demand will be big like Bio4 Wii Edition was when it came out. That one actually sold out.

So did they ever say how this game would control?

That's the question on my mind.

It's the same as before, only with the Wii aiming.
