Rebecca's Report #file 09/16

Description: 'On July 23rd, an MP vehicle was found inside the Arklay Mountains. Corpses of MP members and an unidentified body were found near the vehicle. According to the information from military authorities, the unidentified body was identified as former ensign Billy Koen, who was sentenced the death penalty following a court-martial on July 22nd. While Koen was on transfer via Navy MP escort, they must have experienced some kind of accident. The corpses were severely mauled, apparently torn apart by unidentified wild animals. The following day we returned to the location to recover the bodies but they were nowhere to be found. Military authorities have requested that we turn over Koen's body as proof of his death. But due to the circumstances described above, it will be a difficult task to recover the corpse. I am requesting that this case be temporarily closed until further notice. Raccoon City Police Department S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team Rebecca Chambers'

Above is a file from Claire/Leons - Scenario 'A'&'B'
So, you think he's dead?

Well, you know how at the end, Rebecca said, "Billy Coen is officially dead." and then Billy replies, "Yeah, I'm a zombie now." and he's alive?
Well, I think she's covering for him, pretending they found his body along with the MPs so that no one knows that he's still out there alive. :D Rebby's so nice.

Yeah, you missed that one. Becky is just covering up the fact she let him go. BTW, is that file from the N64's version of RE2?

Nah, It's from the Nintendo Gamecube version I think.
I'm not too sure.
Why?

"cause I thought those files (the Ex-Files) were exclusive to the N64 version of RE2. It seems the GameCube version has them too.

Awesome.
I've never played the N64 version, although I rather much liked too.
Is it any different to the Gamecube version? Or is that a retarded question...

It's funny because the EX-Files turned into a Nintendo exclusive, maybe it was hinting at the GCN deal soon around the corner, eh'? :P

Originally they were only on the N64 version of RE2, the reason was to tie into the N64 exclusive RE:Zero. As we know Zero later moved to the GCN and now RE2 on the Gamecube also included the EX-Files, tying into the now GCN exclusive.

What's funny is during this time Resident Evil 2 released on the Dreamcast and did not include the EX-Files. Not even Biohazard 2: Complete, later released and claimed to be the ultimate version of the game, included the EX-Files. Is it really that serious Capcom... Nintendo!?

Haha, Maybe they just thought that there was something missing if they didn't include it

The GameCube one is probably the most complete version out of the two, 'cause the N64 version didn't have the Extreme battle game.
