^^isn't that the gun that was PS2 exclusive? I want the sci fi gun :(

It's on the Wii Edition, too. Also, unlike the PS2 version (which fires in a straight line only), it targets everything on the screen - enemies, hidden treasures, barrels, crates, torches - you name it! Needless to say there isn't much challenge using this weapon...

Right now I'm at the part just past the 2 statues that breath fire. I only gave it a couple tries but it seems like it's going to be the hardest part for me yet.
I still need to go back to the merchant and get the semi-auto rifle....should have already bought it lol

I recommend holing up in the room with the two pressure plates and letting the cultists come to you. Be warned that they will eventually come out of the ceiling in that room, too! Another strategy, if you're fast, is to run with Ashley out of the room as soon as you trigger the pressure plates. Run out of the room, make a hard right to the corner, then run left up the stairs. You'll have to pass a cultist but he'll be too busy pointing and yelling to do anything. This way you can make it out into the main room where you'll have lots of space to maneuver.

As for the sniping part, yeah... get the semi-auto rifle. Using the slow bolt-action here is suicide.

The boulder on pro wasn't that difficult for me. I'm on the Gamecube version and It's pretty easy for me. The only problem I had on pro mode was when you're stuck in that house with louis and have to kill off like 100 ganados. HAHA. Other than that, I didn't really have any problems with the game on pro.

I can't even recall how many times I've beaten this game on pro...gamecube version. Pro never really gave me too much trouble. I think with the wide variety of availibe weapons and upgrade options it's just a matter of finding what works for you.

For example, I've found the striker shotgun to be the best. It's explosive shots really help to fend of the Novistadors.

^ I always completely upgrade the striker right before the fight with Krauser. It makes the rest of the game so easy. I only find the fight with Krauser hard on pro because I only use my knife. I have no herbs after that.

I think chris might of lacked the muscles at this point in the RE timeline to be punching boulders! I could be wrong.

On with my experience though, Gamecube I didn't have a problem with the boulder, PS2 I died ridiculous amounts of times. Then again I could never properly get used to the PS2 version after tha amount of time I spent on the Gamecube version.
