It could be a residual effect of last years devastating Tsunami. Global news and Internet has only been available to everyone for 20ish years.

So widespread records visual OR written of what happens in nature after and unprecedented event like this is very limited.I guess from now will be when the documentation allows us stupid humans to study the after effects.

Then again when the sardines speak we should sit up and take notice.
