Question is in the headline. Mine max download speed rate 880 kb/s btw and what about yours ?

I think the best I've seen was 1.75 MB/s.

ISP is Optimum Online.

Mine rarely rises above 150 kb/s.
It aught to be about 1 mb/s, but my computer/modem/ISP hate me.

Wow, and I thought mine was bad. Mine is 4.3Mb/s.

We're talking about actual download speeds (like off http or torrent for example), not your overall connection speed.

4.3 Mb/s is bloody amazing, if that's your actual DL speed. Who's your ISP?

Good enough for me. Still not up to Korean or Japanese standards but then again, you have to live there to get the best services in the world.

The ISP's advertised speed is 10mbps so I'm hitting that fairly closely on average. It can drop sometimes to 7mbps depending on the time of the day, but they've improved a lot since 2006.

I got that result back, it cannot be true because snail mail is more efficient than my internet's speed. So I figured maybe within Australia the internet is super fast but it is slow communicating with overseas.

So I tested it again with a server in New York. Got this.

I get better service to New York than just across the river haha.

I never actually get any download speeds like that.
