Hello! It's nice to be back! Share your stories that make u sad or angry. Let me start with mine..

My uncle is a Christian and a sunday school teacher. He hates all korean culture, music and the bands there. I love Korean music and my cousins also love them whether we talk about the Girls Generation and other kpop groups he will get mad and say don't talk about it.. and talk about religion instead. After the sunday service.. My uncle talk to my parents and said that stop listening to kpop and remove all the songs of them on my father's cellphone. At first my parents don't care about us listening kpop.. when my uncle told them not to because of the song Run Devil Run by Girls Generation.. he tell them that song is bad because of the word devil... So we did remove the kpop songs and videos in our father's cell. Then I asked my mom "Mom, can we go to the Girls Generation's concert?" and my mother just said a simply "NO".. I asked why she just said "Remember what uncle Benedict says?" And my cousins text me and said that playing justin Bieber music is not allowed to play in front of them... *sigh*

that makes me sad

I'm born again too.. but not like him.. he's very strict everything that we do he puts religion in our conversations.

What does make me angry? There's a lot of things, but I hate people who will do whatever it takes them to succeed even at the cost of humillating others.

What makes me angry. People who accept failure or mediocrity. Well, actually people like that are fine as they don't affect me, but it's when they push that belief onto others, especially children. The words "You'll never be able to..." Or "It's impossible to be like/as good as..." piss me of so much. Negative nancys need to shut up and stop spreading their negativity.

Also film elitists and elitism. "I saw this film and it means I'm better than you and your opinion is wrong and I'm smarter cause I saw this special film which is better and more smarter than everything you've ever done and ever will do and if you ever watch it you wont get it either so your opinion of it is invalid because you can't understand the plot and how awesome it is and that its better than the crap you like, blah blah blah!" I hate people like that, they need to get over themselves.

Note to SG79, never tell jokes, because you're apparently not good at telling them -_-

Perhaps I shouldn't have said it in that manner, I'm sorry if I offended you. The type of person I'm reffering to is like your uncle, extremely over the top. They become so obsessed with a set of manmade laws that they become unruly in their own personal realm, it's obviously no good. Despite some obvious genuine efforts, I see too many of these people grasping on to something they were anything but their entire life. It seems more like a facade than a way of life. If it is purity you seek and follow that path your entire life, God bless you. Sadly a huge percentage of born agains are anything but.

I wore off several VHS tapes watching T1&2 back in the day, so you could say I'm a big fan. He used to be an excellent filmmaker, but not since the mid 90's. Granted, Avatar was a better film than Titanic but it was a mere gorgeous, but shameless Dances With Wolves rip off.

The worst part of watching Avatar was realizing how great of a Terminator movie he would've directed in recent years. The action scenes were very well directed with no gimmicky shaky camera effects.



I apologize, Bieber is indeed a very talented artist. Took you a while though


Anyway, on topic, the very first complaint hit pretty close to home. Extremism, which often leads to militant mentality, and not just with religion, but national and ethnic pride and so forth. Add hunger for power and money and you've got the recipe for the majority of conflicts throughout history.
