Yesterday I'd buyed the Live 8 dvd. It's not what I hoped it will be. They'd only put one song of some bands like VR, Green Day, Bon Jovi and others.

Now they are releasing the shows of the different places individualy. I'll probably get the Hyde Park show.

I WANT THE VR SHOW COMPLETE!!!

No i didnt buy it, but the saturday they played that on vh1 and mtv, i had about 10 hours worth of live 8 on our tivo.

Live 8 is such a joke...

Those celebrities and rockstars may give their profits to Africa(which will just go to the corrupt leaders) but all the publicity goes to them.

They "care". Yea right.

People like Bono couldnt give a damn about suffering in Africa...They care about you buying their overpriced CD's.

I don't want to start a fight with you but I don't agree with the things that you sayed, specialy 'bout Bono.

The only reason someone idiot like Bono would even continue to make music is money. With every album he makes respect for him has continued to drop. No one likes U2 anymore and no one wants to here there horrible music ever again.

If you don't like U2 and think that Bono that doesn't mean that everyone will thnk like you.

There are people that loves U2 and respect Bono, just like me.

I'm not saying that thats true because thats what I think I can say from experience that alot of people think that way. U2 sucks.

Don't get me wrong...

I love U2's early stuff. Bono is the quintessential rockstar! Unfortunatly, money, and popularity has clouded his judgement, and abilities as a musician. That's what happens sometimes when people accumulate wealth.

I really am offended when people with tons of money feel they have a right to lecture me on how to live a humble, self-respecting life.

Tossing money at a problem usually doesn't work...and it seems that Live 8 was meant to do just that.

If these celebrities spent their time in Africa, trying to change the way those 3rd world countries work(for the better) then maybe I would have more respect for them.

It hurts to say it now, but it's so true. I used to love U2, their older stuff... my Dad had a few old albums and I liked them when I was pretty young. I still think their great, rather were great... but now, yep... their just horrible.

U2 = Mike Piazza, once Godly but now falling. Well, at least Mike has a bunny for a wife... or is that Glavine dressed up. (inside joke to hatch)

LOL on Thomas! THere's only one difference with U2 and Piazza, People still loved Mikey especially David Wright.
