For being one of the worst games of the year, according to IGN anyway. It topped the list as the least worst game of the year...so far.

There were some games that got even worse than that.

The fact that they charged $60 for a half-ass game and then another $20 for 6 more identical missions really showed me what kind of company Slant 6 really is. I will never be buying any game from them ever again because even though I play it as a guilty pleasure to go around shooting things: I should have stuck with my instinct and kept my money.

^While slant six certainly retains blame, it is not entirely on their shoulders. It is after all capcom's franchise and they are the ones who told Slant Six what they wanted to do. They also are the ones who came up with the marketing plan for it. Slant Six likely had little decision in deciding to cut spec ops campaign out and release it as DLC. That was almost guaranteed Capcom's doing.

Again, Capcom may have hired them to develop it, but, they were still in control of the overall product.

You can blame Slant Six for all the bugs, glitches, terrible collision detection etc., and even the terrible storyline. All of that is their fault (as much as Capcom's for not QA'ing the game and having the balls to say the game was not up to par). But, Capcom did in fact rush the game out and rushed the development time for the game and again are the ones who actively chose what 'dlc' would be available for it etc.

So Capcom is actually worse in this situation than Slant Six are. Yeah, Slant Six made a shitty game, but, at least they can chalk 'some' of their problems up to Capcom's rushed dev time for them. Capcom really has no excuses on their own behalf.

They said least worst (aka best of the worst), and Agent Wong said that there were games who scored lower.

Slant Six is a crappy developer. And they wonder why they've had to make several layoffs? I know they are working on a new IP, but I'm sure as hell not going to buy it.

So after every year they come out with a game they have to make layoffs? That's not how it should work. Anyone willing to work for a company like that is obviously delusional and probably didn't see themselves being laid off.

I mean who would willingly work for a company with Slant Six's track record? Not me.

Those links don't offer much, do they? You said "and they wonder why they've had to make several layoffs?" when they're making statements to the contrary surely?
