Are You Back In Raccoon City To Exposed Umbrella or To Protect It?

I've taken a liking to Willow and Party Girl on the Spec Ops side. I only really like Four Eyes on the USS side. Majority rule, I like Spec ops more. EXPOSE UMBRELLA.

Had to go with Spec Ops, as even though I have only played one stage of the DLC, I had much more fun, and it felt a bit more like Resident Evil than when playing with U.S.S

Spec Ops > U.S.S. in every way.

Plus Dee-Ay is sexy.

I wanted to like the U.S.S., but the game simply didn't do the squad justice. The Spec Ops at least have some sort of character, so I have to go with them.

Considering the 'writing' of the game is piss poor to begin with, expecting them to come up with interesting personalities for 'evil assasains' is hoping too much. That was the core concept and the final execution, absolutely nothing further.

Capcom: So we'd like to have a team of Umbrella Agents as the primary characters. Cold, ruthless types and weave them into the story.

Slant Six: Gotcha. So hmmm, cold and ruthless ok, each of them will enjoy killing and have a complete disregard for humanity and compassion and their sole focus will be their mission. I think that about wraps things up on character development. Let's take a lunch.

And for the record in case my post came across differently than I intended as often is the case, I wasn't quoting your post and replying to question or attack anything you said. If anything I was simply agreeing with it.


In any event, it's not like the SPEC OPS have much character or personality behind them either. But, the simple fact they're the 'good guys' with unique designs to each of them where we can see their faces and styles and the fact their mission and actions are more likable makes them likable over a group of black armor wearing masked cold and emotionless bland killers. It's almost like deciding to drink piss over eat shit but hey, drinking the piss is still better by comparision.

I like them all honestly. Just a bit shame that more thought wasn't put into the characters, on both sides. I really can't see how spec ops have "more" personality than USS, it's just that their faces are not concealed, which I understand makes people feel the spec ops are more "humane" than the USS. I just wish there was an option to actually see the USS faces.

Plus, I love the funny accents of the USS. I mean, come on, how can someone NOT appreciate a german woman saying, in a german accent "Fiah in ze hole!"?

Spec ops, & their campaign already seems less usless than the USS's.

I'm not a particularly big fan of either, but if I had to choose, I'd probably go with SpecOps, if only because I like their character designs more than the USS.
