Just saw it. Must see. So amazing. Can't say much more without spoilers which I don't wanna do in the first post of the topic. But, I am so buying this day one when it comes out on DVD.

Good to hear Ikari! I'm actually planning on seeing this tomorrow and looking forward to it. Whedon certainly has a large following that's well deserved too. Seeing a horror film written by him is also a nice taste before delving into the Avengers movie later in the summer.

My friend and I were talking about this yesterday. I have a hard time finding movies that appeal to the type of horror I like (extremely picky), but this one seemed really good from the brief description I read. Glad to hear it was good though, means this now lands on my "Must watch"-list :P

I'm so so on this just as I am with Joss Whedon himself. Is the focus more on horror or black comedy?

Ah so I saw it today and WOO! Oh man...!! There are no words in any language or on this Earth to express my approval lol I'll just simply join the band wagon of "you must see this movie!" :)

There's both but don't go in expecting a full fledged horror flick. That's not what the movie is about lol. Can't say much more without spoilers.

Also, while I looove whedons work you can't give him all the credit. Drew Goddard cowrote and directed it. Goddard is an amazing writer himself. He worked on Angel, Buffy, alias, Lost and wrote Cloverfield.

He deserves equal praise.

Fiiiinally got round to watching this on Friday and bloody loved it.

Def one of the best horror movies I've seen in these last couple of years was a lot of fun
