Eh, I can see that. Factory was okay, but given the game and it's story premise, I just took it for what it was. I sincerely look at it was the right way to use Frank West instead of doing Off The Record. AND, after having beaten Case West:

Spoiler:
The game ends on a cliff hanger with Isabella getting kidnapped by a Phenotrans executive, with a potential cure existing. Now, instead of doing Off The Record (aka DR2 w/ Fwankie), I believe time and money should have been invested to making a game that progresses the actual story.

I STILL haven't beaten Case West. I actually tried to get my friend to play it with me recently but he just wasn't interested. And I can't bring up the motivation to solo it.

It's pretty short. Definitely my favorite segment of the DR2 'saga' (Zero, DR2, West, Rising Sun, OTR).

The fact that they made stacey the traitor in case west and how Rebecca actually survives was pretty dang interesting imo.


Only thing I like about case west now that I've skimmed youtube stuff of it.

That was actually Off The Record. Case West is the canon follow-up to Dead Rising 2 (Ending A).
