Needs more defilers. :P

Maybe it's to balance out so many zombies on screen? Though WET could only go to 720p as well but it's a completely different type of game and I thought it was just laziness giving it low resolution.

WET looked and ran like CRAP, but with this game, I think it's a reasonable guess. The inconsistent frame rate backs that up, since the game is pushing a lot of polys and lead on the 360.

The last game I played that pushed polys out the wazzoo was NGII but they overdid to the point where it ran at 1125x576 with slow motion type slowdown at parts. The re-engineered PS3 version had neither, but fewer enemies on screen.

The "Psychopath" outfit became available on live last night, makes you take half damage from everything and deal double, and also apparently gives you 'deranged attacks' with stuff like the machete, chainsaw, and ice pick. (Where can I find an ice pick?)

I'm done with this game. It crashed a couple of times, in addition to two incidents were odd loud static (think CRT without any signal) popped up too. The second one required rebooting too! Ugh...

I really enjoyed the co-op sessions (I was bedridden too), but the PS3 version in particular needed a few more months of development if they missed these bugs.

Sorry Rombie, I won't be able to do co-op again. Should give RDR's Undead Nightmares a go when the standalone disc comes out.

More reason to back up my argument of why they bothered with a PS3 version in the first place when the first one was an exclusive and the game was clearly made for the 360...

Silly capcom.

By that logic (or lack thereof), RE and DMC should've remained on Sony consoles (the PS3 had the PS1 games on PSN too). It's business, and despite the issues, it seems that both versions are selling equally well.

Budgets are $20+ million for games, not including marketing costs, so publishers need compelling reasons (read: financial backing) to stick to one platform.
