Pablo, we are not questioning if she's Ada or not by her looks. It is Ada's face and style. Question is: is she the real Ada or the rumoured clone, Carla Ramades?

Same here, and thought it could make sense Leon seeing it on video.

One thing that I don't understand is why make a clone that resembles Ada? If the original Ada is confirmed in this game maybe she knows there's a lookalike of herself out there and isn't too happy about it. Which could explain why Leon is defending her towards the end.

thankfully in the game context it wouldn't make sense to have an army of any character other than maybe Wesker.

im thinking its too late to reveal Ada as a clone and her original(that would be like not revealing Snake is a clone till MGS4 and first introducing Big Boss in that game.)

and Ada isn't some super badass till RE4.
So im going to go with the clone being created to get involved somehow with Wesker and Ada.

Well, in my opinion, that woman is Ada. About Carla Radames, i have my doubts, but if they put a clone, we are going to have 2 bad Adas.

Well i don't think it would be an "Ada army" or anything, Its likely that its a double made for evil shenanigans, likely to confuse all the main characters and cause drama between Leon and Chris.

What im also curious about is if the Chrysalis process is suspect-able to random combustion, as we saw in the first trailer what looked like one of them on fire. (Could of just been an environment effect/action)

Where the heck this Carla Radames comes from? Is this character announced by Capcom?

News Bot mentioning the play "Aida", made me think of how the roles or actions of some of the characters in Revelations fit into the story of the Divine Comedy. I mean, the whole game was based around Dante's descent into the depths of Hell, in a metaphorical sense(and literal as we uncovered the horrors of the ship and the mystery of Veltro).
Perhaps if we consult the play "Aida", we may get clues as to solve this "imposter" mystery about Ada.

In "Aida", Aida is a princess that gets captured and brought into slavery by those under the command of the Pharaoh. They are unaware of her true identity. The warrior that swears loyalty to him, but has feelings for Aida, is Radames.
Going back to a prior theory of mine; suppose that Ada went to seek out Alex Wesker and was instead contained by his forces. Alex Wesker is unaware of Ada's true identity and goes by her alias. The physically agile being created(or came about by whatever means) to be in allegiance with Alex, is Carla Radames. She is still made in the image of Ada, and perhaps has conflicting feelings associated with personality and memories that have a chance to carry over(depending on the process of creation). So even if Carla carries out what she has been directed, something in her mind is quite amiss. Leon also fits the role of Radames, when he struggles against his emotions for "Ada" vs. his duty to the mission against bio-terrorism.

Adding to the complication is the Pharoah's daughter Amneris, who has fallen for Radames(yet he does not return the love).
If we still we want to compare this to what we have seen in RE6, this is where things get problematic. Maybe it would have been more fitting for Carla to have been Amneris, in the sense that she is a "daughter" made by the hand of Alex Wesker and may share unseen remnants of feeling for Leon, from Ada. Leon could also be Amneris, who mistakenly loves Radames, but she strangely does not return the favor(because she isn't the real Ada).

Confusing!

Damn, I just watched the House of Flying Daggers too. I'm being reminded of it right now. You want to see a story of love triangles, betrayal, impersonation and tragedy, you watch that. The Chinese "Beauty" song that plays repeatedly through that fits Ada's character perfectly.
