If she was suddenly a villain it would be an almost complete reversal of her character. No idea why you'd prefer that over something that isn't even new to the series.

Yes, being a twin sister is mostly the same thing as 'a clone' and a term which isn't used in such a matter.

I'm hearing the original source material strictly meant clone, though that information itself could have been mishandled (just not mistranslated). While a lot of these rumors have held true, that doesn't mean the final product can't change either. While it all sounds likely, I still want to see how it all pans out. Theorizing at this point shows that no matter what it turns out to be, it'll at least be fairly shocking still.

That's the scenario "The Island" used(I find myself referencing that movie ever more lately...everyone should just watch it right now if you haven't and then come back here). And it was a great story imo. I think it's more tragic in the sense, that the person the innocent clone was based off of was more ill-hearted than their copy. We usually expect the reverse don't we? Good original, evil clone. That's why I loved that the movie switched what we are typically used to. I mean, has anyone considered that someone with influence, power and money might invest in project to develop a "back-up" plan, in case they were to fall to fatal circumstances? That person probably wouldn't have expected their "back-up" to escape, and live a different life apart and have a completely opposite personality.

So what if it was the same case with Ada? (that's only if we still assume "clone" and not "imposter/impersonator")
Kind of a sad story that all along, Leon falls in love with the more morally sound copy of an evil, scheming wench. And that she doesn't actually have a real name, but a number or subject code, therefore she creates an alias or a name for herself.

Personally, Im not so sure I'd favor a scenario like that, as it would be kind of heart-breaking. I think I'd rather theorize that the "Ada" running around in RE6 is actually some experiment created to screw with both the real Ada, Leon and to carry out the intended tasks with original Ada's skill and intellect. And that experiment eventually has the potential to mutate from something beautiful to something horrendous(that both Leon and "real" Ada will destroy. Because that would be cool).
It would be kind of like copying Nikita. Why wouldn't you?

My theory is that after Albert Wesker had passed, Ada was sent by the Organization to a South-Asian island(where Alex Wesker was located), based on rumors that a monumental virus was being developed there(or intel that Ada discovered herself). She infiltrates the facility, gets captured and refuses to cooperate, so Alex decides to play a game with Ada and make an imposter of her to go out and carry out tasks for him and fuck with everything she stands for. And he tortures her, by making her watch(thus it would kind of go with the lines at the beginning of the RE6 trailer)while she is unable to do anything about it.

Also, Im fairly sure the woman in Marhawa Desire is this "Ada" we see in the trailers. They both have the same high-heel boots.

I like that theory ARJ. That would be a nice story, the only problem is that Capcom is writing this story, and details like yours always seem to come up just short of expectations. Wow, I've become a cynical brooding old man because of Capcom...

Thought this would be worth sharing. Whatever comes out of the cocoon at the beginning of the trailers is female and has Ada's hairstyle. Look closely at the chest and head.

Likewise, in the screenshot of the "C-Virus Experiment", the first and last names of the "Subject" look like they begin with "C" and "R". Try typing out "Carla Radames" and covering the name with a sheet of paper or something. Look familiar?
