I mean, I could handle if they wanted to do up Ada as a ninja, but yeah, the outfit just seems off. I would have much liked a ninja-esque version of her tactical outfit from RE4. Or just the tactical outfit in general. I know Ada had a tendency to go for sexy dress-wear, but not Excella-style.

I'm happy that the characters are ageing, and it's starting to become visible, what age would Ada be now? Roughly the same age as Chris?

Around 39, so yeah, just a year before Chris. It's more realistic when you have characters age. It gives them a sense of mortality. We grow with the characters, and then realize that they too will have to die some day. Biohazard tends be special with the fact that you have so many ways to possibly revive the dead. Doesn't necessarily always work the way intended though, ha ha.

There is a possibility that the Ada character is in fact Ada's clone, Carla Radames.

This was posted on 29th January 2012. All of the characters featured on the list have now been confirmed, other than Carla. It's safe to assume that this information is genuine. It also mentions that the new enemies are called J'Avo, again a long time before that information was officially released.

Ada having a spanish clone? Or a spanish woman dressing up like Ada?
Well, actually, there's nothing that screams Ada about new Ada other than the hairstyle, possible resemblance in face and the red scarf. The earrings and the style of dress(beyond looking like a strange formally-dressed female Strider)make her look a bit like a spanish lady.

If it's true; I'll have to accept Resident Evil has gone swimming in a vat of crazy punch since 4. I guess I'm more willing to accept bouts of virally-charged incest, sex-changed bioweapons, and advanced technologies in 1998 than the idea of more clones.

Well, considering "Ada" is an alias, she could be anyone.
If I were to consider this clone business at all, in the vein of the movie "The Island"; the Ada we know and love(some of us) could actually be the clone, and Carla Radames, the douche-baggy original. But that doesn't explain the Chinese heritage thing at all.

I'm fine with it. In all honesty, she still looks hot.
