Do you think RE3 needs a remake?

They could make RE3 like REmake of RE1, not necessarilly like RE4 or RE5. They could adjust Jill's speed to that of RE1 as well. In REmake she wasn't that fast, a crimson head could get her, if she was hesitating.

Plenty of things could be added, there's no limit to how expansive they could make Raccoon City, how much more dialogue they could include, backstories to all the characters, files linking/hinting to the Outbreak series, and so much more. Side missions and bonus scenarios with the mercs whatnot, it's just so open for improvement.

Stop for a second. Try to picture it in your head: REmake-style RE3 Jill, running around in gorgeous HD as fast as she did in RE3, shoulder-checking zombies, rolling, side stepping, dodging Nemesis' rockets. It's a beautiful thing...


Oh my God Yes! I agree here. I here people say they would like a Remake of RE2 in the classic style, but RE3 in the new style, and it makes no sense. RE3 works best in the classic style it was invented in. It would suck in RE4's style. I mean you all saw what they had to do to Nemesis in Umbrella Chronicles.

Also you are very much right about expanding the city, I'd love that. So many new areas could be explored, new characters, old characters. They could remake it, and add so much, more than half could be brand new material.

I think I'm one of the few that wants an RE3 remake more than an RE2 remake. More could be done with an RE3 remake. :mrgreen: RE3 is already my favorite game ever, and a remake is just mouth watering. :lol:

They could probably add in lots of story as well I guess.

Maybe they should combine RE2 and 3 together. After you play as Claire and Asshole, you unlock Jill's "scenario".

On one hand you can say that would be epic, but then if you think about it, if they did that they wouldn't put as much time and effort into one game. The amount of detail put into either or wouldn't be as well done as it would be if it were spread out amongst both the games.

Plus they just did an HD remake of RE2 basically and it was pretty damn good. What we got in UC wasn't a remake, I wouldn't even call it a retelling, I just call it crap.

Yes, I did. My apologies for not answering earlier. :surprised: I think Capcom could find a way to make it work. I'd prefer the old camera style for RE3 remake -yes, with some changes about Jill's speed for example-, but I'd like to hear about other's opinions. People have different opinions and if they like RE3 remake with the new camera style, then I'd like to know why they think that. :smile:
