Interesting trailer. It seems more reaction based then before. Also it appears you don't get credit for enemies killed by environmental traps, like the saw-blade-thingy that killed the obese person/zombie.

That looked like an absolute buttload of fun. All the mobility makes the game seem so so much more fun and interesting. I loved when chris dropped back to the ground and fired while the blades were spinning.

Im gonna be smashing this mode all fall and winter.

Looks like alot of fun tbh. I hope best buy or amazon gets videos of the maps they have, im really interested in the rail yard and maybe seeing a different character being used. Im especially curious as to how the point system will work with RE6 merc, will it be more like the original or the reunion system? Just want to get my hands on RE6. :smile:

Looks fantastic but with the ability to do melee all the time is going to be easy to get those +5 sec bonus.

I hate to say it because I like how the original merc system worked, but I think because of how easy the melees are now, everyone will be doing them and so the time left at end won't be worth nearly as much as it was before. The time left in the end will either be worth as much as it is in reunion (100 pts a sec) or less.

Of course, there's no telling how they've handled the strength of various melee attacks yet, but I still think the most efficient use of time will require counting bullets and topping off a kill with melee. There's just more freedom in approach. It should also be less difficult to place group melee kills without the need of the prompts.

There's so much to consider in light of this freedom, especially with another player present.

Just remembered the stamina bar.

It should make it interesting since when you run out of stamina you cant melee or even run so it will be impossible to just melee all 150 enemy's in a row. It forces you to make the melees count and mix it up a little, it sure wont be a repetitive as RE5 merc lol.
