Called it.

Also, judging by the special features, it looks like Las Plagas will play a role.

Wait... it's coming out in NA on September?

Glad they haven't forgotten of Las Plagas.

Maybe Las Plagas are used to control the Lickers?

A week before Resident Evil 6's release - Capcom could not have timed this any better.

Would expect it to leak online early September.

Whoa September? That's quite a change. All of the Japanese sites are listing the theatrical showing for October 27th, so I find it bit strange. Thought they would have released it after RE6 due to content that may spoil the plot of the game, but perhaps Damnation is sort of a prelude to lead up into 6.

I don't see how it wouldn't be possible to incorporate Plagas into the Lickers as long as it was done under the right conditions to keep the parasite from over-mutating them, and rather increase the strength and aggressive tendencies of the weapons. They could always pull a Nemesis and use a chip to keep the Plagas in check. If there was someone who could control them, it would be an individual who knew about sonar waves or had a device that utilizes them.

I would have thought after the Kijuju incident that Las Plagas would have fallen off the market, but alas, maybe some one is trying to improve them again. The C-virus does have some very Plaga-like attributes, so it wouldn't surprise me if the virus was created through a derivative of the Las Plagas (or mixing G and T-Veronica or just G-virus with the Plagas. I have no idea...)

No chip ever kept Nemesis in check.

The Plagas being involved would be a nice way for them to explain what happened to the dominant species Plaga sample Ada stole in BH4.

Why?

We know the Lickers are being controlled, and Las Plagas allow for their hosts to be controlled. Makes sense to me.

I didn't think of that, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
