Christian Svensson, Senior Vice President of Capcom and Capcom's main Public Relations Associate has revealed during an E3 Interview that Resident Evil 6 does in fact contain 4 seperate scenarios as opposed to the 3 previously confirmed. While he did not confirm who the 4th scenario specifically follows, it does seem to line up with previous rumors about the alleged Ada campaign IGN has previously mentioned. We'll know for sure soon enough.

UPDATE: It seems the latest issue of Famitsu also mentions that the 4th scenario may be revealed officially on July 5th by Capcom. Thanks to our friends at Biohazard France for that info.

I hope to god it isn't DLC. That will be the boiling point.

I think it's unavoidable at this point. With the applause for "Separate Ways"- Desperate Escape and Lost in Nightmares came about and it was DLC. I think that this had lead to what I believe will be Ada's Mission available as downloadable content as well. It was mentioned in the interview with Svensson mentioning DLC would play a major part- especially since the 4th scenario just now being confirmed.

Well if this is true then Capcom can pretty much go fuck themselves, never buying anything new from them.

Let's not turn this into anything. It's very unlikely the 4th scenario will be DLC, especially since it's been known for awhile and is likely necessary to complete the story. The only likely reason it wasn't announced previously was because Ada wasn't officially announced at the time.

So lets just wait for comic-con and see if they announced more info on it there.

I understand your frustration, Vito. Since they Capcom team is going on about how big the game is, I have a feeling they will just keep adding and adding and adding. For the Story, Mercenaries, Costumes, Locations, Characters, and maybe even another tie-in with Damnation. It's just my guess...but I also know that they'd end up coming out with a DLC bundle about a year (or two?) afterwards like with RE:5. Maybe even a special edition would include all the goodies released later after the original release. I'm personally voting to have another $100 tangible Special Edition package to add to my collection rather than purchase it by download. I also have a feeling that's why a SE has not been confirmed/rumored yet.

PS: Not trying to turn this into anything, it's just one of my blah blah's.

DLC or not I can't complain. Four is better than three and I'm pretty stoked for the game. Just hope the DLC doesn't end up costing about as much as the game *looks at ORC*

I'm with Vito on this one. At best, DLCs should be side stories that complement the game itself but not an actual part of the game. So I remain hopeful that this isn't a case of DLC abuse like Capcom's recent track record.

I'm turned off as it is about the way the demo is being distributed initially. I didn't bite as I've done in the past.
