This week's Dengeki PlayStation magazine leak provides us with a new tidbit of information on Biohazard 6. According to the magazine, the conversation system in the game is "seamless" and that dialogue can change depending on the situation.

According to a quote by the development team on the magazine, the game has an incredible amount of content with respect to voice acting.

Will the voice actor for Leon be the same as RE4?

He clearly is, going by the trailer. If you can't tell the difference then it wouldn't matter much then

It's not Paul Mercier. I don't know how anyone could possibly mistake it for him. He sounds nothing like Mercier.

It's probably Dave Wittenburg (sp?), the guy who is voicing Leon in Operation: Raccoon City, though it doesn't particularly sound like him, either. Granted, Wittenburg is clearly trying to sound like Mercier in ORC, and he may not have been given that stipulation while recording for RE6. Similar to D.C. Douglas with Wesker in UC and then RE5.

Sounds like Mercier to me, just putting on a more gruff voice.

Also I fail to see why CAPCOM bothers with voice acting so much when they can't even get the fucking script translated right.

I wonder if this means automatic dialogue situations or a player controlled system. Although Outbreak's system was far from seamless, I think it added a lot of insight and personality to the games.

Thank you. And I think this may be simpler than stated and similar to that one cutscene in RE3 with Jill and Brad at the bar, but with possible line changes.

Didn't notice this earlier but now that you mention it, it's very possible they're referring to auto dialogue. Can't imagine them changing dialogue with scripted cutscenes as it takes much more time, money and well, storage.

I never go by what I hear in trailers.
