Eh, why would they speculate about a character? They get the official info from Japan, it's Ahsley then (unless the CM responsible for the facebook page is totally unfollowing orders, but that's unlikely). But I'll take it with a grain of salt for the time being until a trailer or Capcom Japan directly say it.

When I saw the Facebook status date, thursday, I suspected that who posted that just saw the blonde girl and the comments about her and suppose that was Ashley. I didn't saw Resident Evil's Facebook page posting the same info, just the trailer.

Also, Slant Six ins't the one that runs ORC's Facebook page?

Still, I'm also waiting for official information, but I guess Capcom have no hurry. =P

Lol I've thought that too. Sure she's blonde and has Ashley's annoying voice, but look at her face. She looks exactly like Rebecca! Though Rebecca makes less sense than Sherry and Ashley both.

Honestly, I could believe it's Sherry. One, she looks like sherry when you get a look at her face. Ashley looked different. Two, why would Ashley be with this random guy? Unless, he ended up taking her away somehow. Three, Sherry is a mysterious character and so is he so they could easily get a cool story line to work with the two IMO.

Rebecca? It would be nice for her to be in another RE game, but I highly doubt it's her. Nothing makes me think it's her. I think it's Sherry, kinda sounds like her as well. Not Ashley because Ashley's a sissy, and wouldn't be jumping off buildings and such if she can't even climb down a ladder herself in RE4. Heck, Sherry was running around zombies and climbing and crawling though spaces back in RE2 when she was just 12. And plus, the blond girl doesn't have Ashley's "ballistics" xD

If it is Sherry I would understand not saying it was her.

IGN says it's Sherry while ORC on Facebook says it's Ashley. That pretty much rules out Rebecca automatically. It's either Sherry or Ashley. And I agree with Mugen on this one. It's probably Sherry cuz Ashley's a wuss and the girl in the trailer doesn't have Ashley's huge "ballistics"
