Haven't we already seen giant mutated spiders in earlier games. Giant Tarantulas in the first three REs. A giant black widow in Code Veronica. What were they infected with if not the T-Virus? Spiders are nothing new in RE.

We've seen spiders become infected, but we've never seen a virus spliced with the DNA of an arachnid.

All the more reason why it feels redundant. Yeah, they're going into the account of injecting spider genes into people now rather than just mutating spiders themselves, but, just feels more like a 'been there, done that' kinda deal to me rather than something truly new and exciting, again we already had Leech DNA and Ant DNA virus'. Another insect DNA virus is redundant for that reason.

Spiders aren't insects.

I dont think HUNK is directly related to anyone we know of, Steve is friends with major characters but not related, which to me leaves either a new character whom is related to someone big, or perhaps the mysterious Alex Wesker based on the way he moves.

Naw bro, these characters dont always have to hold hands, she may be but even if she isnt involved, these characters can start to stand alone imo.

I just thought since Claire was such a major part in Sherry's life that she would be involved. But I guess you're right.
